My boss had mushroom and ale pie & creme brûlée.. he loved both and isn’t vegan or plant based.

Die Karte ist übersichtlich, was meiner Meinung nach immer ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die angebotenen Gerichte sind sehr unterschiedlich, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist - von Burger bis Levantisch. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl, erst recht, wenn das liebevoll (und gar nicht "typisch Kette") angerichtete Essen kommt. Auch das Dessert war ein Traum!

Excellent Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding. Loved all the parts. Only thing that could improve it would be a cauliflower cheese. Super! Also loved the Jasmine pandan cold brew tea infusion.
Read moreI was looking forward to trying their Sunday roast and turned up at 4 to find it stopped at 3. I was so disappointed and wish they would extend their hours for that. The mushroom pot pie was ok as was the minted pea purée. The roast potatoes were divine. My partner is still dreaming about the Korean fried chicken burger saying it’s the best burger he’s ever eaten and totally worth the price tag. Indeed it’s yummy.
The bokkeumbap or kimchi fried rice was just killer. The tofu was incredible, sweet and crispy crunchy on the outside. I’m going to dream about this dish for sure. I wasn’t so crazy about the spiced sticky toffee. It was light but not so decadent as I remember other sticky toffees. I haven’t had a vegan one I love yet.
We came here for my birthday after I got an email for a free bottle of fizz for my birthday. They had 0% which suited us and it was nice and generous at £35 for a bottle!?! The burgers were great although they were slightly cold when they arrived which is a shame. The kimchi stir fry rice was slightly different and not as good as I remembered. Very lovely tropical pineapple curry. We weren’t so impressed with the white chocolate tiramisu as it wasn’t very coffee flavored. I couldn’t detect the white chocolate which is good as I’m not such a white chocolate fan.

Great desserts, disappointing mains - Edit
The food is far from bad, but for the price it’s just not impressive. We got loads of small plates but nothing blew us away. The focaccia bread was a joke — 4 tiny pieces of thinly cut toasted bread. The desserts on the other hand were amazing and I’d probably come back just for that. The service was also really strange, like everyone was new and no one knew what to do.

We got the kimchi fried rice, mushroom pot pie and tiramisu and the latter two were great! The rice was kind of dryhard like they might have used basmati rice - hopefully I'm wrong because that doesn't really work too well. Anyway, the staff were friendly, service was pretty quick and portion sizes were large. It was very full on a Tuesday night with good vibes which was encouraging to see. The only thing I'll mention is that there was an optional 12.5% service charge that was added to our bill without specifying what it was for but this was our first meal in London so I'm not sure if that's a "tip" or something else.

I made a reservation but I didn't need to, it was only about half full when I went in on a late weekend night. I had the risotto balls as an appetizer followed by udon with a creamy sesame broth. Both were so well done! Finished with the creme brulee with cherry compote which was phenomenal. Service was quick and friendly.

Came on a Saturday night and got a table for myself, but it did seem busy so a reservation might be needed for larger groups. I got the kimchi gyoza, mahkani tofu, and the cherry saffron creme brûlée (so hard to find vegan creme brûlée, and this one was excellent!!!). Everything was brilliant, and the vibe was very soothing and cozy for a late night dinner - low lights and candles at every table, sort of a wine bar vibe. Staff was lovely as well.

I used to love this place but year after year the menu becomes super boring and flavourless. It’s way too expensive for what it si, maybe if it hadn’t become a chain it would still offer the same quality food as before?

This only thing worth eating there still are the pancakes. Went twice during the same week to try different stuff but wasn’t impressed. The waitresses are always rude apart from Iris who works in Camden. Always feels like they are annoyed to work. Once i payed with a gift card and i felt as if i had insulted them…
Don’t think i will be going back next time i am in Ldn and it’s breaking my heart as it used to be my absolutely favourite place.

One point deducted for the following minor points: they ran out of Yorkshire puds (aggggggh!), the potatoes were clearly from a catering pack (shame as a couple were not Cooked through), not enough gravy and the Negroni was not worth the price tag. Oh and the crème brûlée was a little bland.
But don’t let that put you off because the rest of the food was really tasty 😋
Pros: Lovely staff 😃, Tasty food , Good VFM!
Cons: No yorkies left!!!!! , Bad acoustics!! Loud but got better as folks left., Meh Negroni!
