Delicious! Friendly staff - Edit
Delicious. Stunning views on the Shard from our table. Flavourful dishes. All vegan. I had indicated that it was my partner's birthday when I booked online. Every waiter and waitress knew and wish him a happy birthday; they also gave him a small dessert on the house with a lovely card. Going back very soon with a group of friends. Thank you!!

Read moreI had a starter, a big plate, a desert and a cocktail. It was worth the money, but Mildred’s ( the mother) stays better. It could be a bit spicier. I came alone and so the staff forget me sometimes… that was not so nice.
The tap water tasted awful… but wasn’t the reason why I came.
The desert was the best!
Pros: All vegan , Very fancy menue, Beautiful room
Cons: Expensive but ok for London , A bit to hype

Did not feel the food and flavours were worth the price. It’s was underwhelming bc of the hype - same owner as Mildred’s.

Defo go for drinks and snacks, it’s a lovely place to meet with friends after a long day at the market. Bookings are required though

We've been here twice now. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Both excellent experiences. Overall, there is a very nice vibe to the place. The staff were welcoming the service efficient. Dishes strike the right balance between fancy and comforting. Nice to be able to see the cathedral through the window and visit Borough Market before/afterwards.

I felt very decadent out for my girlie brunch here, at almost a tenner for fancy cheese on toast. However, it was a London brunch, and a lovely atmosphere and really friendly and accommodating staff. The brunch plates were delicious, and as they were sweet dishes we ended up skipping afters. I was gutted as they all sounded so good but I couldn't have consumed anything else sweet. Would definitely recommend if visiting London.

I stumbled upon Mallow thanks to following Mildred's on Instagram. We booked a table (thank goodness!). We both had the Thai Market Mali which was worth every penny of the £18 each we were charged. How they deliver those flavours I do not know!

Wonderful food, creative dishes, delectable flavours. Drinks menu includes non-alcoholic options (only two mocktail choices). Both of the small plates I had were excellent - beetroot/sweet-potato tortelloni and butternut dahi puri. The ginger sticky toffee pudding dessert with toffee ice cream is incredibly delicious, although it was too rich a finish for my meal of two of the small plates and the rich coconut-milk-based mocktail. The menu is full of interesting items I’d like to try.

Great fast and experienced service. Unfortunately we were a bit in a rush so we only had a main course each which were excellent. Prices are on the high side, but the location and staff are great and you get what you pay for. Would love to go back and take more time.

Went to Mallow with high expectations, which was met for the most part. We tried all the small plates instead of getting a main dish, and it was hit or miss. Some were so good, and some were lackluster.

Incredible croquettes - Edit
Visited here last night for Valentines, it was really really lovely. The croquettes were particularly good and the tostadas topping was great. The burger seemed a little small, but was delicious none the less. 3 small plates and 1 big plate is all you need to feel the perfect level of full 😊

Lovely atmosphere and helpful, charming staff. The dessert deserves a special mention. Creme brûlée is pretty standard but the licorice and cherry sauce brought it to life. I would normally avoid licorice but this was subtle and amazing! It’s great to see Mallow doing so well. I hope they keep up the high standard of food and service.

I recommend visiting Mallow. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, and the food is delicious. I split a few dishes with an omni friend and we were both impressed by the tastiness of the food. Portions are a bit small, but they’re good quality. Don’t skip dessert - you need to try them all. Prices are what you’d expect for London. I paid around £35 for my meal (starter, main, dessert, tea).

Read moreI tried the truffle chick’n burger, aioli, buffalo glaze, dill pickles, slaw and fries. It was a bit spicy and had too much slaw for my taste, but the “chicken” texture seemed great and the burger was well served plus the fries were nice 😊

Good flavours but a bit overpriced. Out of two starters, two mains and a dessert to share, only 3 out of 5 dishes were nice. One of the starters was brought out cold and one of the burgers was just so not worth the price, it looked and tasted like something from a cheap vegan fast food place.

We don't like giving vegan places bad reviews, but improvement is needed here. Wouldn't know what the food is like because the stuffy pretentious host wouldn't seat us. After landing at Gatwick, we were looking for a decent lunch once coming into the city. I’ve been to Mildred’s plenty of times so when I saw that this was the sister restaurant and close to where our train was going, I couldn’t help but want to try. The hosts were extremely accommodating considering we had our luggage and also no reservation. I was traveling with a another vegan so we ordered a few plates to share. Honestly the quality was outstanding. We loved everything. I would absolutely suggest trying this if you’re near London Bridge.

For the last thirteen years I have traveled the world to seek out the best vegan food in a given city. The meal I had at Mallow was easily one of the best meals I have had in my life. I was fortunate to be there on the weekend for the brunch menu and the thali blew my mind. It was not an ordinary thali: it was a Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian modern fusion triumph that was unexpected and perfect. The portions were generous, and the was staff friendly and attentive. This is easily the best restaurant in London and possibly the world right now. #Veganuary
