Amazing mushroom fully loaded chips and delicious home-cooked plantbased all-day breakfast. The staff are lovely and the coffee is really good. Quirky but tasteful decor, clean and wholesome. The only downside is the lack of baby-changing facilities and high chairs, but it is a small venue so would be tricky to fix this!

Sadly we do only have one toilet and as it’s very small , there isn’t room for changing facilities. We do however have highchairs (well… the ones you strap to dining chairs, at least) so if you visit again, just shout and we’ll happily provide you with one 🙂

A good vegan spot in Scarborough where we always feel home, good vegan food and drinks. I’d personally spice my food up a notch but my husband enjoys it very much as is. We are yet to try their “fish&chips” take out on Friday night.

Read moreThe first time I had just moved here and found it by chance, and I got a takeaway sweet treat which was so good.
The second time I got the loaded spanish chips for lunch to have at the castle. The portion size was big and filling. I can't wait to try more on the menu.
They also sell products (cards, recipes, ethical goods) inside, some from locals, which I think is a really nice touch.
Overall this place has a great atmosphere, staff and food.

This was the second vegan spot we tried whilst staying in Scarborough and it did not disappoint! It’s a shame I can’t take this place with me because I’d make it my local cafe ❤️. The vegan breakfast is lovely and we even ended up coming back for the banana blossom fish & chips in the same day.

Had vegan breakfast burrito which was amazing partner had vegan meatball sub, he's not vegan and loved it and 3 different vegan cakes all great. Coffee lovely too. Staff really friendly and nice.

This is the best kind of place you can find, you can feel they really care about everything from the second you enter the door. The menu is super clear, with a great varied selection and also a specials board. The food itself is on another level, I had the vegan breakfast, with homemade beans and vegan halloumi, a few times during my stay in Scarborough. Another day I tried the spinach pancakes with tomatoes, vegan cheese and balsamic. Yes, I went every day. If you want to know about the food or have any requirements, they’re super knowledgable and passionate about all of it. The drink selection on offer is great too, from a great coffee blend, selection of fruit and herbal teas, to a fantastic vegan chai, turmeric or beetroot latte and more. I tried my lattes with pea milk, give it a go if they have it. Then there’s the cakes and bakes which are all lovingly homemade and super tasty, the peanut butter slice was my favourite. All of the staff are really welcoming and knowledgable about the area, food and drinks on offer and make the experience so nice. They even play nice relaxing folk music, what more could someone ask for in a cafe?

This lovely little cafe is now fully vegetarian/vegan. Food was excellent. We had 2 delicious breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good value too. And dog friendly.
