Lovely little café ! - Edit
My partner and I had a wonderful experience dining here twice whilst on holiday. Our two dogs were not just tolerated but made very welcome, there were plenty of vegan options, and the food was delicious ! Add to that the very reasonable prices, and the care the owners put in to keep the vegan food separate from non-vegan products during preparation, and you have yourself a super place to go ! Would highly recommend, and we will be back next time we are in the area.
Read moreSome of the available options included : a vegan Mediterranean breakfast croissant, vegan sausage sandwich, spicy soup, a chickpea pie, garlic mushroom toast, a curry pot, a hearty bean pot, several cakes and a range of milkshakes. So you'll be spoilt for choice !
Pros: Lots of choice , Dog-friendly, Great prices
Cons: Hard to choose ! 😂

Now serves animal products - Edit
They did still do a vegan sandwich, a couple of vegan mains and some cakes (the ones that are from a supplier as they seem to be everywhere!). Sausage breakfast sandwich was really good and they’re dog friendly but unfortunately now not fully vegan.

Thank you for visiting us last week & we are glad you both enjoyed the vegan sausage sandwich which is on our breakfast menu and we accommodated to serve outside of this. We would like to clarify that whilst we are not solely plant based, we have broadened the plant based options and it is not correct that we only had two vegan mains and a sandwich. We currently have ten vegan meals and we also offer vegan milkshakes such as Lotus Biscoff, Oreo & Dark Choc, 5 plant based smoothies and speciality hot drinks such as turmeric lattes, beetroot lattes, chai lattes and hot choc made with vegan choc drops & vegan cream & vegan marshmallows. We also are reviewing our specials and menus on a regular basis as the new owners. Our cake offering is sourced from two local bakers in North Yorkshire, some homemade by the owner and a national company. We receive many compliments for our offerings. Today for example we have 6 vegan cake offerings including two homemade by the owner and a vegan cheesecake. We are dog friendly and happy to be serving Plant Based Doggie Ice Cream. We do not believe that a purely plant based coffee house is financially viable in our location and so we have broadened our range to be more inclusive and attract a wider client based whilst still catering for the previous vegan customer base. We do fully understand the issues regarding intolerances and allergens as one of the owners has dairy and gluten intolerances and also numerous allergies, and we try to provide gluten free options within our menu. This is a new venture for a husband and wife team and we are continually learning and adapting to enhance our coffee house experience. We hope you will visit us again. Chrissie & Ash

Now, what you gonna do? - Edit
The legendary Love Brew Cafe is unfortunately winding down for sale now so there was a limited menu available. Plenty of lovely cakes though and some savoury items. I got a delicious cheese and potato flaky pastry pasty to take out as all the seating was occupied. Not the cosy culinary experience. I was expecting but still satisfying nonetheless.

Great vegan cafe - Edit
Really busy with people sat at tables, which I thought was a good sign straight away, every thing labelled, ordered to take away, straight in straight out, no messing about, ordered 2 of everything for myself and the wife. 2 coffee, 2 savoury items & 2 sweet items, the earl grey cake took me straight back to my nana's living room, lovely memeory to have on your 50th birthday. Definitely want to go back. Great find. Scarborough you should be proud. Oh and dog friendly massive plus for me.

Highly recommended cafe - Edit
This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff are also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is so delicious, plenty of choice and healthy food that leaves you feeling great afterwards, no post eating bloating or yucky feeling (great for any IBS sufferers out there!) great selection of drinks, desserts too and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The decor is super cute too. Please go visit, trust me, well worth it.

Fab Donner Kebab! - Edit
While not a normal vegan choice, flat white (oat) with a donner kebab, astounding! A full and interesting menu. Nice vegan cook books around the walls. Greeted and served by a friendly kind happy person.

Cosy - Edit
Their menu is small but absolutely delicious. I think my favourite at the moment is the VLT sandwich (tempeh, lettuce and tomato) but I also love their all-day breakfast and they often have scrummy specials like pancakes. Their cakes are amazing! Ask Brian Adams! (When we popped in there one day a couple of years ago they had no cake left because Brian Adams was in town for a gig at the Open Air Theatre and his team had been in and bought them all!)

Simply perfect - Edit
Even with a small menu they never fail to deliver 100% plant based offerings, the food presentation and the quality is 2nd to none not to mention the “cake counter” we have been many times and have never been disappointed “Emma” the owner I just introduced a products area where you purchase nice little Artisan food products that wouldn’t necessarily be in mainstream shops

A Scarborough must - Edit
Cute little dog friendly cafe just a short walk from south bay in Scarborough. Really good menu choice for mains and lots of cake choices too! We tried the kebab, a cookie and rocky road (the sweet stuff didn’t last long enough to photograph) all were incredible. The kebab was perfect and didn’t leave that greasy feeling at all. Flavours were so good and everything tasted so fresh.

Full English Breakfast! - Edit
Love the atmosphere here. It was very busy on this Saturday afternoon, so my daughter and I shared a table with a lovely couple and their dog. I had a full English breakfast, which I couldn’t get anywhere else, so of course as an American tourist, that is what I chose from the menu. It was huge! And very delicious. Tofu eggs, tempeh rashers. The beans were sublime and different than traditional baked beans, which I find rather boring anyway. The latte, hot cocoa, and brownie were all nicely prepared too. Everything in the whole cafe is vegan, which is a great treat! #Veganuary
