We didn't think we would find much vegan food in scarborough, let alone a completely vegan cafe, so was so excited when we stumbled on Francesca's.
Read moreI had a delicious smoothie and we shared a crumble with icecream. We came back twice for the GF chocolate cookies because they were just so good!
The owner was so lovely and great with my little girl, even giving her a sticker and a picture she had lino printed 🥰
We will definitely be back when we visit!

We went to Francesca's for our wedding anniversary last month and were given a very warm welcome. There was a great choice of freshly prepared healthy food of good quality. The portion sizes were really generous and value for money. Our main course was flavoursome. We also had smoothies from a comprehensive list of options and we finished with a delicious piece of home made cake.

Francesca's offers minimal menu items that change depending on the ingredients that they have. There were two available dishes when I went which was the chilli and the scrambled tofu. We tried both and both were really good.

Lovely all vegan cafe right by the Seafront in Scarborough. Mostly takeaway, but one small table inside.

Lovely small cafe near the seafront. A few seats inside, but opted to take mine away and enjoy the beautiful weather. Food menu is written on the shop window, there are several options for mains and desserts. Smoothie menu inside on the wall. The owner (?) kindly did me a mix of two dishes and could not have been more accommodating. Super friendly, thanks so much 😄 Look forward to visiting your new store in York.

The lovely owner greeted us in a very small and quaint café (one table for four). Not many options as it's not regularly open on Mondays, but the options they had were wonderful. Coronation chickpea sandwich, lemon drizzle cake and oat latte were divine and will definitely be back on Friday for their breakfast options. Lots of healthy smoothies were available which I'll also try on Friday!

A little cafe with a nice selection of drinks, sweet and savoury food. The food is tasty and is all vegan which is great. Unfortunately, it’s very hard to buy anything, because it is often closed during the supposed opening hours.

Thank you Happy Cow reviewers for flagging this gorgeous little place! Called in at lunch time, felt a bit peckish but not ready to eat, however I needed a drink so went down the middle with a peanut butter smoothie! It was SO good, and the extra scoop of maca really added a lovely flavour.

I genuinely think you'll struggle to find a more perfect vegan cafe/food venue. An exquisite menu, service with a smile and wonderfully friendly staff. Everything I've tried has tasted incredible and has been presented beautifully. The coffee was awesome, the food delicious and oh my word, the cake.......it has to be very possibly the best vegan cake I've ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of vegan cake. If you get the chance to visit this little gem of an establishment, don't miss it🌱

Imaginative food coming out of tiny premises - Edit
This family business operates out of tiny narrow premises with only one table (most people take away) - how they create such imaginative food with hardly any space is beyond me. They are also really friendly and are clearly committed to their vision for their little cafe. I wish them every success

Food was amazing, we had artichoke soup with the most delicious bread and a breakfast wrap with a tropical and a berry smoothie to drink. After all that we couldn't manage dessert but the cakes were too tempting so we got some orange and cardamom cake to go, absolutely delicious, really unique flavour. Would highly recommend, lovely staff and dog friendly!

Quaint'est little place with the most delightful warmt hearted welcome and some of the best food I have eaten in my time of being vegan. We felt looked after from start to finish.
Fay cooked and served us up some of her own, and her families family recipes which were to die for. I wish I could have tried everything.
To begin, we had a few hot drinks and a biscotti.
Then went on to the Indian Bhurji breakfast. Full of surprises, textures that just worked exceptionally together. Not your regular breakfast, this is 10x better.
Dessert, strawberry cheesecake. Oh.my.god. Word's just won't do it justice, neither will pictures.
Everything was beyond our expectations. They are clearly talented enough to be opening an entire restaurant/chain.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. And Fay, such a beautiful hearted person with a clear passion for customer service and cooking 💜🌱🍲
