Absolutely delicious - Edit
Visited La Gula just before heading to the airport. Went their with my brother and my parents. We all loved the food. They also have cocktails and mocktails. Everything was delicious. Whatever we tried was delicious. My particular favorite was the fish and chips, and the fried seafood. But don’t get me wrong, everything was delicious.

Great pie! - Edit
We visited La Gula for a post dinner dessert. I had the banofee pie and my dad had the mango cheesecake. My banofee pie was out of this world.

Delicious (but expensive) - Edit
Beautiful place for very high vegan quality food.
Read moreThe service is impeccable! Friendly and professional.
The live band was... not good. It looked like they were practicing. Always stopping and correcting.
But anyway, this is the place to go for vegan people. And also for the others!
Expensive, but worth it.
Pros: Food (burger), Service, Atmosphere
Cons: Price, Music band

Western and expensive for Malaysia - Edit
A nice, cool, Instagramable place. However, was really disappointed by portion size of my bagel for the price! Everything was tasty though, enjoyed both my drinks. Cocktails also available (3 for 100RM). Would have got more things if it had been less expensive.

First time, loved it! - Edit
We went to the Happy Tapir for our third or fourth time to find it shut. I’d read that La Gula opened so we tried that and it was fantastic, different menu but retaining some of the best bits of the original. Excellent service. So pleased to find places like this.

Good ambience - Edit
Nice ambience, great smoothies. The salad was ok and I wish they had more healthy options in the menu but the food is quite tasty.

What a wonderful spot - Edit
Came here for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a bit pricey so not something I would come back to too often but once in a while allow yourself to indulge. Food and coffee were spot on.

Delicious croissants - Edit
This place is located in Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur close to Pasar Seni LRT train station. There are a few beggars and homeless people around Pasar Seni train station, which I thought was quite shocking to see the inequality in Kuala Lumpur. La Gula is a very pink place. I ordered the Mushroom Rendang Croissant and Iced Oat Latte and it was great. I wanted to visit again but unfortunately only visited once, but based on my one visit I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and the staff were very professional.

Fantastic - Edit
I ordered the pancakes and a variety of pastries with a coffee. Pancakes were delicious, not sure why they car called biscoff and strawberry pancakes as they don’t have any biscoff rather they have a butterscotch sauce which was way too sweet. Pastries are good however they are covered in extra sugar which is totally unnecessary. Coffee was also very good

Vegan pastry galore - Edit
Tried a few of their pastries - they were a little tough but the flavour was spot on. My favourites were the almond croissant and sausage and cheese croissant. Lots of other cakes and dessert options too.

Cute and tasty - Edit
During my first visit I tired the coconut soup with “fish” balls and it was so delightful that the next time I couldn’t help myself and ordered exactly the same thing. So, strongly recommend!
Read moreMatcha is good, very strong. I came straight after the airport after a very early flight and I tell you, one cup made a big difference.
The space itself is adorable. I love how they played with the staged zone.
I saw lots of people trying bakery stuff. I’m not so much into bread-kinda-things, but people seemed to enjoy. And it’s not easy to find vegan bakery around the city.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much, I did have a great experience!

I've been here a lot because their food is really delicious and also special, they have some flavour combos i havent had before. also their drinks are nice and the ambiente and interior really seals the deal. i will say one thing, we once got the sweet croissants from the dessert shelf and they were quite dry, bummer. the other things always were really good

A complete vegan restaurant - Edit
We went to this place twice, first as a takeout for just a simple dessert and second for a full dinner. The place has very cool sitting area and good vibes. Outdoor seating as well. Lots alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and beverages. Lots of meals and desserts as well. If we thought THT which is literally a minute or two away was good, this is even better. First the desserts.
Read moreMango Cheesecake - the best cheesecake we have ever had vegan or not. And this is not understatement. The cashew cheesecake didn’t taste cashewy and was perfect sweet and mango was just mind-blowing. The Pain Au Chocolat good.
The Dark Rich Chocolate Cake was divine. The Tiramisu was it was meant to be. Rich cream, coffee and lady finger cookie type base. Just amazing and to die for.
Steak and Mashed Potatoes with mixed greens and BBQ sauce was good. Steak was good and had a unique stringy texture. Mashed Potatoes very good.
The Diwali Thaali was a surprise that it was still available and was not in the menu, however the server suggested and we went for it. The mutton rendang was amazing. The rest of the curries very good and they were spicy - South Indian/Sri Lankan spicy. The vegan yogurt was something else. Never had vegan yogurt so close to the real thing. Some curries a bit greasy.
I hate going to restaurants like these! I want to try everything on the menu and I can’t in one or two visits. Wish it wasn’t 15k Kms from us.

Service was meh- - Edit
I’ll preface this with it being a holiday- lunar new year. It’s busy. We made a reservation and received a table outside which wasn’t great. We never received cups but were pointed to self service water, I ordered a dessert appetizer to eat while we wait knowing it would be a wait and never received it. Had to reorder the dessert 30 minutes later. It came with food.
Read moreFood was delish so I’m giving it 3 stars.
The staff was likely overwhelmed.
Bathroom was located in the hotel next door.
Other location is much better.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Minimal service , No bathrooms
