Favourite - Edit
My favourite place to have ever eaten vegan and that’s coming from London where we have a lot to choose from. We were in KL for a little over 24 hours and ate here twice. So many cakes, ice creams and pastries to choose from - after two months travelling around Asia the kids were beyond excited for the sugar rush. So fun to have a cheeseboard (an enormous one at that!) and great cocktails in the evening too!

Great place for brunch! - Edit
A pleasant atmosphere and a well-designed layout. The lighting is especially impressive and enhances the overall ambience. Customers can choose between indoor or outdoor dining, both of which provide a comfortable experience. Outdoor seating is particularly enjoyable, allowing you to observe the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur and its people as they go about their day.

Nice tasty vegan restaurant - Edit
Nice place with a good menu and reasonable prices for vegan food. Had the hedgehog rendang dish which was very tasty. And had a nice iced passion fruit mint tea. Well worth the visit. Easy to find,in a touristy area.

Cute vegan cafe - Edit
La Gula is one of the best vegan bakeries and cafes in the world let alone in Kuala Lumpur! It has a gorgeous interior with a range of comfy seating options. It has a wide range of delicious food, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. We had the Mediterranean salad, four cheez and Margherita pizzas, shoestring fries, and some bakery stuff to takeaway. All delicious! Will definitely come back. Lalpu was a great member of staff, thank you! It is also in a great location in Chinatown, near its sister restaurant the Hungry Tapir - also worth a visit!!

All vegan brunch! 🌱 - Edit
LaGula offers a delightful brunch experience with, for example, exceptional vegan waffles and croissants (sweet and savory). The innovative menu caters to diverse palates, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors. The cozy designed ambiance and friendly service enhance the overall dining pleasure. A must-visit for brunch enthusiasts, especially those seeking delectable vegan options. Some days the music is very loud, but staff is able to adjust that on request😄#Veganuary

Wow! Best in Kuala Lumpur - Edit
Can’t recommend more highly! The food and atmosphere is amazing! We ordered the share platter for lunch and then came back the next morning and got the big breakfast with coffee and juice. The servers are also so kind and will help you out in any way possible! Do yourself a favour and try La Gula.

Tops Pizza and Tops Ice Cream - Edit
I came too late for the dinner menu after trying to find a vegan indian spot in Brickfields, which was closed on arrival and then walking by foot across six rivers of meatheads in cars. So much fortune as this restricted me to the late night pizza menu, which I would likely have passed up.
Read moreSurprise! Awesome pizza, with delicious mushroom satay sausage. And then the ice cream came and it was stellar, beyond compare. Tried three flavors, Durian, Strawberry and Vanilla. All of them tops. I was delighted to sit on the maenianum and watch the disco-like resto-bar below and enjoy excellent service and delightful food. Well done!

Simply Awesome! - Edit
Went there for dinner and breakfast and let me just say - the food, the staff and the location are all amazing! They have western and traditional Asian cuisine - both are super tasty! They also offer so many pastries and desserts in general. Try the breakfast bagel, the avocado toast and the traditional 'fish' soup - best dish I had in Malaysia so far!!

Great but pricy - Edit
I went there twice for breakfast/brunch and loved the food. The cocktail I tried was not that nice though. As was mentioned by others already: it’s pretty pricy for Malaysia! Staff was friendly and interior is beautiful :).

Go there for their breakfasts - Edit
Ngl I found their chocolate berry cake too coconut-heavy, but their breakfast options are amazing! I had the sambal croissant and the fried "see-food" filling was perfectly crispy and spicy. I tasted my mate's pizza and it was creamy and cheeeezzzy. Maybe the other cakes are actually better but I'd defo stick to savoury next time.

Funky and Delcious!!! - Edit
This is such a cool spot and a must for vegans in KL. Light, bright fun decor in this venue which is great for brunch, lunch, coffee and cake, or a date (especially if you get the tiered cushioned seating areas at the back). I ordered the ‘fish’ (banana blossom) and chips and an oat, peanut butter and banana milkshake - SO delicious!!! Couldn’t fit in dessert so got an apple slice and macarons to take away and wasn’t disappointed. The croissants and pastries looked delicious and are obviously popular. Very clean, tasty and stylish - great Instagram spot. Highly recommend!

La Gula is a must stop if you are visiting KL. The restaurant is cool and trendy inside and the food is incredible. If my stomach was a bottomless pit I would have ordered more, especially trying items from the baked goods and dessert display. Everything we ordered was spectacular.

Very cute cafe, as expected from the same owners of the hungry tapir. The food was ok but the big breakfast scramble was too salty. The cauliflower was delicious and the croissant and scone were average. Expect to pay more than what you’d find elsewhere

We visited for brunch and the biggest problem was deciding what to eat. We decided on the big breakfast and the water plate to share and both were excellent. The menu reads really well and this will certainly be a ‘must visit’ every time we’re in KL from now on.
