Make Ki-Yo Choice Carefully - Edit
Upon entering this cafe, I was immediately impressed by the sense of calm and serenity. Archetypal Japanese flora in the midst of cosy seating, walls playfully adorned with tasteful nods to classic animes, all juxtaposed with the industrial-chic finish on the ceiling, made for a genuinely inviting space.

While the coconut milk iced latte that I had was refreshing, the coffee itself wasn’t nearly bold or pronounced enough. Easily overpowered by its nutty accomplice, it would be nigh on impossible for me to tell you the flavour profile of the bean. Perhaps a different blend would have been better suited, but as this was my inaugural visit, I trusted that the house roast would be more than adequately up to the job.
Not all items that I procured were found wanting for punchiness, however. A last-minute espying of an almond energy ball proved to be the saving grace of the proceedings, as it was a particularly fine, satisfyingly dense, and chewy example of its ilk.
Simply due to the ambience of the place (and because I have now started to amass stamps on the loyalty card), I will more than likely return here, though a more robust pour will most definitely be sought.
