A must-try for anyone who loves proper hearty vegan food 🎃 - Edit
We tried the autumn stuffed pumpkin, seasonal greens, mac and cheese and some amazing fritters (can’t remember exactly which ones, but they were so good!) — everything was absolutely delicious. I could have easily eaten more, and honestly went home thinking all night about the crumble I didn’t get to try because our reservation time was up 😩
Read moreThe only tiny downside was the sorrel margarita — I couldn’t really taste much tequila, which is unusual since margaritas are usually one of the stronger cocktails (part of the reason I always order them 😝).
Other than that, the food, flavours, and atmosphere were all incredible. I’m definitely going back to work my way through the rest of the menu 😋

Pros: 🌱 Incredible flavours and creative dishes, 🍽️ Beautiful presentation and hearty portions, 💫 Great atmosphere and friendly service
Cons: 🍹 Sorrel margarita was a bit light on tequila, ⏰ Our two-hour reservation flew by too quickly, 🍰 Still thinking about the crumble I couldn’t try

Best Vegan Food in North London - Edit
The food was crazy comforting, delicious and satisfying. I could eat everything all over again. Bajan Fish Cakes, Jerk Skewers and Fried “chicken” (mushrooms) and mash with gravy. Absolute heaven on a rainy Friday night in November. Didn’t manage to take a picture of dessert which was pineapple crumble and custard…we hoovered it up. We ate before 6:30pm because had a Sadler’s show and managed to get two courses for £27. Brilliant

Me and me Mrs had a fantastic, world changing dinner at Jam Delish. We had the Mac and cheese, the cauliflower and the “chicken” and mashed potatoes. Delicious and unique flavors! A shift from a usually wonderful experience - Edit
My third visit to JamDelish was disappointing compared to my previous two wonderful experiences
Read moreWe had a table booked from 1830 and were informed by the gentleman who met us at the door that another table was booked from 2030. Friday is a busy night, with many vegan restaurants closing, we wanted to avoid inconveniencing the team and help with getting tables turned over ASAP. Two of our party arrived at around 18:45, but we ordered drinks all our food by just past 19:00 , explaining that we understood the table limit and asked to bring everything as it came, no gaps between starters and mains, just when done to speed up their turnover and make it easier for the team.
The starters arrived, but they were disappointing. Despite my previous rave reviews, the food lacked the spice and flavour I had anticipated. It seemed like the chef was having an off day or the recipes had changed
As it was almost 8 pm, we ordered more drinks, hoping the mains would arrive soon. The FOH gentleman repeatedly reminded us that we had to leave by 8:30 pm, making our birthday evening out anxious and rushed. By 8:28 pm, almost an hour and a half after our orders were placed, the mains arrived. Similar to the starters, they were not to the standard of my previous visits. The fish curry was bland, the curry goat lacked any flavour, and the beans were extremely salty. The only saving grace was the well-seasoned crispy mushrooms and the delightful dressing on the tofu plantain mushroom skewers
The FOH gentleman returned almost as soon as we received our food, telling us we had to leave soon. Despite our foods recent arrival, he blamed us because two of our tables only arrived at 18:45. He didn’t acknowledge our long wait for the food, accept our attempts to simplify the order, or show any empathy. It is worth noting his attitude was inconsistent with the rest of the staff, who were attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and a delight to be around
With the sheer numbers of my favourite vegan eateries around London closing their doors due to lack of engagement and revenue, writing a bad review for what was one of my top restaurants in London is never something i thought i would have to do, but the experience has surely left me reconsidering returning. Poor food on an occasion can be remedied and explained (as i tried my very hardest with my party to do), but uncomfortable treatment from hosts is less easily explained away
We spent almost £300, not sure if it was worth it
Pros: All the wait staff were amazing except that one, Staff very knowledgable about menu , Lovely ambience until FOH man had a go at us
Cons: Inconsistency in seasonings and flavour of dishes, The man who blamed us for the food being late , Seriously, who blames their customers like that

Hello KaviThobhani Thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed and thoughtful feedback — and above all, thank you for choosing to return to Jam Delish. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your most recent visit didn’t live up to the excellent experiences you've had with us previously, especially on an evening intended to celebrate a birthday.
Read moreWe’re known for our warm, attentive service and bold, flavour-driven food, so it’s disappointing to hear that this wasn’t consistently reflected throughout your evening. It’s clear that the tone of the experience was impacted by the handling of your table timing, and we’re sorry that this left you feeling rushed or unheard — that is never how we want our guests to feel. While we do operate on timed seatings during peak hours, this should always be communicated with care and professionalism, and we’ve passed your feedback on to ensure that expectation is upheld across the board.
Your comments regarding the food have also been noted and shared with Chef Nathan and his team, who are committed to delivering consistency across every service. We’re pleased to hear the wider team remained attentive and that some elements of the meal stood out, but it’s clear this visit didn’t meet the level of hospitality we’re proud to be known for.
We would really welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at your convenience, your support as a returning guest means a great deal, and we’d love the chance to restore the experience you’ve come to expect from Jam Delish.

Took 2 non vegans who said it was the best food they’ve eaten - Edit
Says it in the title, i LOVE it when this happens! I took 2 of my friends who are meat eaters they have the fish curry and the chicken and mash and they devoured their meals! I had the skewers. Presentation of the food was fab, the flavours were incredible. It’s such good value for money as the portions are huge, shared a bacon Mac and cheese then got the banana cake for pudding - 10/10!

Great restaurant, really nice busy atmosphere and delicious food.

Curried "Goat" with garlic mash plantain:, was really nice, mild/medium spicy curry with delicious fake goat.
Fried "Chicken" made from oyster mushrooms: Really nice batter, nice texture of the mushrooms, broke down in your mouth. Could have benefitted from a tad more mushroom to batter ratio (which was surprising, as the batter was so nice), but still delicious!
Mango Salad: Nice side salad overall
Banana Cake: Not pictured, but delicious and well balanced!

Delicious food and great cocktails! - Edit
Jam Delish is a restaurant with a cocktail bar area. It has a simple, stylish decor and dim lights giving it a classy feel. We went for the early bird set menu offer which you can book through OpenTable and which gives you three courses for £32. This is great value as you can pick any starter, main and desert from the à la carte menu and works out as basically getting a starter or dessert for free!
Read moreFor our starters we went for the Jamaican "Oxtail" Coco Bread and Grenadian Guava Pepper "Scallops". The Coco bread was soft (like a bao bun texture) and very tasty with a delicious filling and dipping sauce on the plate. The gravy was very runny so it was difficult to get much on the bread but that didn't matter as it was very delicious anyway. The scallops were also very tasty with a delicious mix of flavours, fresh crispy cabbage providing a nice crunch and a bit of spiciness.
For our mains we went for the Caribbean Fried "chicken" with Gravy and Curry "Goat". The "chicken" was really crispy, spicy and delicious! The flavours and textures of the cabbage and mash were also really good. The curry goat was also delicious with a strong curry flavour (which was also spicy) and delicious, soft plantain.
We also got a side of "Bacon" Mac and Cheese which was excellent with a rich, smoky flavour and lovely sticky texture.
For dessert we went for the Banana Cake and Cheesecake Of The Week. Both desserts were delicious! The banana cake had a great fluffy texture and was balanced nicely with the sweetness of the cream. The cheesecake was chocolate flavoured and was rich and indulgent. It also had a really nice texture.
I also got a Blue Lagoon cocktail. It was strong and absolutely delicious! It was so good I had another one and have since got myself a bottle of Wray and Nephew which is in the drink. It was also very good value for money as I was very tipsy even after the first one!
The only negative notes for this restaurant are that it is quite pricey (although the earlybird set menu is good value) and it also took a while to be served some of our dishes. That aside the food was all delicious, the restaurant had a nice ambience and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend!
Pros: Ambience, Blue Lagoon cocktail was delicious, Delicious food
Cons: Pricey, Service was on the slower side

Dear dearlybel,
Read moreThank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, though we’re genuinely disappointed to read your comments — particularly as they bear little resemblance to the standards we maintain or the experience most of our guests enjoy.
Cleanliness and freshness are non-negotiables at Jam Delish. Our kitchen prepares every dish to order, and our team, led by Head Chef Nathan and GM Davide, take immense pride in the service and environment we provide. We routinely receive praise for both the quality of our food and the warmth of our front-of-house, so it's disheartening to hear this depiction.
Had any of these concerns been raised during your visit, we would have welcomed the opportunity to address them directly. As it stands, the tone and content of your review seem inconsistent with what we experienced in service that day.
We do wish you all the best moving forward, and should you choose to return, we’d be happy to provide the standard of experience our team is known for, thank you.

Great food, bad service… - Edit
A bit of a mixed review.
Read moreI went there with my non vegan-husband. We ordered the early bird set menu deals (which is highly recommended if you plan on going there).
The food was great! All flavors were very balanced. The banana cake at the end was delicious.
The service, however, was extremely disappointing. It really felt they didn’t care…
The food arrived but one set of utensils was missing. We tried calling for a waiter, but after a couple of minutes just went to the hostess and asked her.
We asked multiple times for water and didn’t receive it.
We asked for the desserts menu but it never arrived, we had to look it up online.
After all of that, they charged us a service fee of 12.5%.
Personally, we really enjoyed the food, but the service ruined our overall experience.
Pros: The food
Cons: Very very bad service , Mandatory service fee

Busy Friday night - Edit
I went with friends on a friday night - it isnt a massive place so it was got really full as we were there which i think contributed to a few mix ups with our orders. The food was great, especially my ‘chicken’ mash and gravy, but we got a selection of different nibbles, sides and my big plate which came out at different times without warning/ the option to come at once. We also got the wrong plates, so one of my friends ate hers cold. The staff were nice though, and had been before without the same problems so I think we just caught them on a bad day.

I absolutely loved the idea of this place, the descriptions looked amazing and the food itself was definitely unusual. Spicy and well seasoned 🔥 and this place has one of the best mac n cheese I have ever had. It's truly worth it. It was creamy, rich, gooey, savory...genuinely the best weekend treat! 👌
