Happy to have dinner here

After spending way too long looking for other near by veg places that we had wanted to eat at but who had decided to be closed for the day, and also trying to work out unsuccessfully what might be vegan in the night market, we were very relieved to come to Hǎo KǒuWèi SùShí to sit down and eat. It is just on a side street off the main road where the market runs down.

The food is standard Taiwan food - not overly exciting but filling and does the job. The red oil dumplings were fine as was the sesame noodles. Cheap.

We were there quite late so were lucky they served us. No one else was there so it was easy finding a table and seats.

Pros: filling, grateful it was open

Good food!

We ordered the red oil dumplings which were just okay, the sesame noodles were a classic and the signature rice was ok!
The menu translates a little odd, so we made sure there was no egg.
The food was super quick and it's really close to the night market.
We wanted to order the dumplings that everyone gets in the Google maps reviews but we must have chosen the wontons instead!

Nice veggie place near FCU

I pass by this place almost daily to and from school, and it's not a bad option to get some quick vegan food. Some dishes have Vietnamese influence, but most are Taiwanese. The pho is all right, but I've had better. The dumplings are pretty good albeit on the smaller side. They also sell zongzi for Dragon Boat Festival. I'm actually not sure if anything on the menu is NOT vegan, but I'll be sure to ask the next time I eat there.

Pros: many vegan options, near Feng Chia University, affordable
