賢淑齋滷味 offers pick-your-own ingredients to cook a noodle soup. A la carte pricing per item. Ovo- and lacto-vegetarian items are marked on the menu board. Open Tue-Sun 4:00pm-10:30pm.
Pretty good sit-down or take-out spot if you want to dine in the Feng Jia Night Market. The limited seating behind the counter/kitchen is set in the midst of a bunch of books, but I am not sure what they were about since they're all in Chinese. (Without actually picking up any to investigate, my guess is that they probably have something to do with Buddhism.) Don't pick too many items even if many look tempting since you can easily order too much and rack up a higher tab than you intended. The broth is not bad, but if you're hoping to stick with whole-foods, avoid the "fish" cake type items and Prince instant noodles.
