delicious but very filling francesinha! - Edit
here all the francesinhas have vegetables and are not so heavy on mock meats, which i dont usually like bc makes it less similar to the real version. but i was pleasently suprised with my tofu francesinha, the mushrooms and tomato werent ruining it and it still had that meaty part from the spicy chorizo. the cheese and sauce were so on point, they made the dish. and theyre generous on the sauce bc i didnt feel like i needed to ask for more by the end. but yes, i felt almost sick 3/4 through it bc its so much food😁sadly didnt have space to try the vegan desserts

So many options - Edit
This place deserves four stars purely for the many options for Francesinhas and the entire vegan menu. It’s so good to come into a place where you can have so many things, and not be confined to one version of a dish.

Tienen muchas opciones veganas, desde el plato típico de la zona, la francesinhas, que tienen de varios sabores, hasta bocadillos y pizzas. Cuentan incluso con un postre vegano, la mousse de chocolate. Delicioso.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
A great place to try Francesinhas as a vegan, super clearly labelled options. Really well thought out alternative, super tasty! I had the tempeh one and the spicy “chorizo” was a highlight.

Excellent clearly labelled vegan options - Edit
Plenty of vegan options on their own vegan section of the menu - an excellent way to try the traditional Portuguese francesinha sandwich, veganised. Not a vegan place so ideal to visit with a non-vegan

Decent vegan menu - Edit
They have a decent vegan menu with many options and the staff is very polite and helpful, but I just think Francesinhas aren’t for me. It’s worth trying if you’ve never had them before though.

Great options of a Porto classic - Edit
I didn't necessarily like this "sandwich", but to no fault of it. I highly recommend any vegan to come and try it. So many options to choose from and it's a Porto classic.

Great place to try a francesinhas - Edit
This place has 5 different vegan Francesinhas. We tried two, Tempeh and Seitan, we enjoyed them both but Tempeh was our favourite.
Read moreFrancesinha is an traditional yet unusual dish. A "meaty" sandwich soaked in a sauce/tomato soup. We have tried it elsewhere and felt the tempeh one was the best we had.
The atmosphere is casual, it's a big open restaurant, pleasant but lacking ambiance.
Great if you want to try Francesinha. Especially if with Omni's.
Pros: Good service , Clear vegan labelling , Tempeh Francesinha - best yet in Portugal
Cons: Big open restaurant lacks ambiance

Muito bom 😊 - Edit
It's worth trying both the traditional "francesinha" and a vegan 🌱 pizza from this establishment. While the francesinha wasn't quite to my taste, it's definitely an experience worth having.

Loved it in 2022. Not so much in 2023 - Edit
The francesinhas here are something you must try. I had the curry version, my wife had the tofu version. I intend to return until I've tried them all.
Read moreThey are among the most delicious dishes I've ever had.
The restaurant is beautiful, and in a rustic downtown area, and the staff is warm, friendly and helpful.
Do yourself a huge favor. Try it. You'll love it.
2024 edit: A few elements have diminished in quality. There is less cheese with a slightly grainy texture. The bread was overly dry and slightly burned. The seitan had a stale flavor, and while the sauce was as delicious as ever, there was less of it, and overall, the francesinha was dry.
Sadly, I won't bother coming back.
The pineapple desert was luscious, though, and we really enjoyed it!
Deducting a star over the diminished quality.

Great selection - Edit
I am very surprised to see such a low rating. Yes, it's not the best francesinha in the world, but it has an amazing variety and the desserts are actually really good! Def advise

Not worth it - Edit
The Francesinha is terrible! The worst I've eaten, as someone born and raised in Porto who grew up eating francesinhas I can say the vegan francesinhas here are just not worth it.

Had a great vegan selection, and although the francesinha could be too heavy for some, I loved their vegan version of it. Would definitely return to try their other versions.

Comida tradicional vegana! - Edit
Sitio perfecto para probar las típicas francesinhas portuguesas pero en versión vegana, especialmente si se va acopañado de personas no veganas! Es una porción muy grande, y forma parte de menú vegano muy amplio.

They have a full vegan menu with several different francesinha options, hot dogs, entries and desserts. I had the tempeh francesinha and a cheesecake. The francesinha was tasty and filling, the cheese of the cheesecake had a mousse texture, more like a tiramisu.

It was great to try some local Francesinhas! Although perhaps not very authentic, we enjoyed their curry francesinha a lot- tasted a bit like a katsu sauce. Just fyi, the house hot dog is also a francesinha haha

Not a fran - Edit
Like everyone, I knew what I was signing up for when I went to this place to try the francesinha. While I’m glad I tried it, I did not enjoy the dish. I’d be interested to know if it’s better at other restaurants (I was keen to try Casanova but it was closed). This place served us the most awful cold and stale fries (and I’ve seen other people say that here) that it makes suspicious that they actually care about making their food good. If you’re ok serving up visibly old Fries then how can you trust the food (particularly vegan food). Each of the individual components of the dish just tasted bad and chewy. We especially did not like the curry dish. Tofu was marginally better.
Read moreService is also slow and mediocre as others have commented. Almost impossible to get someone to let us have the honor of paying our bill and leaving.
Pros: Nice to have options and be included
Cons: Does not taste good, Slow and mediocre service

Best francesinha in Porto - Edit
Best francesinha I've ever had but a little bit pricey. The francesinha costs 10,70€ without the usual portion of fries (wich they charge 2€). The pint was also very expensive for 4€.
