Most vegan food yet in Portugal - Edit

We ate here twice in two days during our Porto visit. First day we had the vegan Francesinha sandwiches. Second day we had pizzas and a dessert. Everything was delicious! Service was good, staff were very friendly and happy to offer vegan options.

Read moreUnlike others we were impressed with the vegan francesinha (tofu) and thought it better than others we'd tried in Portugal. The hotdog was a little plain, with just lettuce and tomato, but it was affordable at around €6. Pizza was a very thin base, which might not be everyone's preference, with good tomato sauce and plentiful cheese.
Overall, a good option for a late night bite and cheap for the area with a francesinha, hotdog and pizza for under €24.

This places is lacking flavor and atmosphere. We tried the vegan francesinha and it was super boring. I appreciate their commitment to offering vegan items (they have a whole menu) but the place feels super commercial. Maybe the pizza is better?

Wir waren mit vier Kindern hier und wurden beim ersten Versuch, dieses Lokal zu betreten recht rüde abgewiesen. Uns wurde gesagt, es hätte geschlossen (was nicht gestimmt hat) und man würde nur mit Reservierung reinkommen. Ich habe dann für den nächsten Tag per App reserviert. Gleiches Spiel, ich musste mehrmals sagen, dass wir reserviert haben. Schlussendlich durften wir dann dort essen. Das vegane Francesinha war ok, die Pizza war dafür wirklich sehr gut. Die Bedienung wollte uns dann noch ein Dessert empfehlen. Gut, dass wir es nicht genommen haben, denn es war die tierische Variante. Wurde auch erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen bestätigt.

The worst francesinha I've ever had!! - Edit
I have to say this place is super overrated and was a major disappointment. I had been there once with friends but only had dessert while they had dinner so I went back for a meal when I had the chance.
Read moreMe and my gf both chose the vegan tofu francesinhas. The vegan cheese was not good and it was greasy, the sauce was bitter and watery, the fries were clearly frozen and not well fried. It had an overall bad taste. We couldn't even finish the meal and went somewhere else.
Before leaving the staff asked us if we enjoyed the food but once we said we weren't satisfied and had better francesinhas in Guimarães, the floor manager spoke in a condescending tone. I wouldn't go back even if the food was free.

I wish i could give it 5 stars because its great. The food was very very good and they have many vegan options and you can be 100% sure that the vegan francesinhas has no animal products in it. We had a really nice convo with the hostess and she is very aware of GMO and knows alot about the products they serve.

The place to get a vegan francesinha! - Edit
They have an entire vegan menu, which includes not only francesinhas, but also other sort of dishes (such as vegan sausages or pizza), but the business is focused mostly on francesinhas, so it is a perfect place to try traditional food of Porto. As to the francesinhas, I am not a big fan, but I could compare the vegan one to a traditional one and can guarantee it was not missing anything. Moreover, they offer vegan desserts too, which is not common to non vegan restaurants. For me is a must visit for every tourist in Porto and I would give them 5 stars if I could.

Three star restaurant service at a sports bar? The food was kind of…fast foodie… no green veggies or anything. Sticks to your ribs kind of food. Extensive vegan menu. Tv was showing the Olympics and the music was fairly loud pop. Great for the right mood.
