Daom Noodle House - Edit
Ordered the vegan janchi guksu and vegan mandu. Fantastic place in many ways:
Read more1. Food is delicious
2. VALUE FOR MONEY. A bowl of noodles costs only 6,000 won as off Oct 2025!
3. Generous servings
4. Separate vegan menu.
5. Some staff speak English well and are knowledgeable about what vegan means for food.
As such, it's packed due to it being a small restaurant and popular with the locals.
Note that this place does serve meat options (non-vegan janchi guksu is made with anchovy broth) and is not vegetarian. That said, the vegan options are equal to the amount of meat options so there is a good amount of choice.
My verdict: 4.5/5. This place ticks many of the boxes I look for in a restaurant. Points subtracted only for serving non-vegan items on the menu. If it were entirely vegan, it would have thoroughly deserved a perfect score imo.
Pros: See list of pros in review above.
Cons: Serving non-vegan options

Vegan friendly! - Edit
It's a small, homely restaurant. Half the menu is vegan. Portions are generous. I got a traditional Korean noodle soup and veg dumplings. It was very filling with mild flavors. There are 1 or 2 spicy options as well.
Read moreThere's a self service station for kimchi, pickle, water, etc. Kimchi is made using seafood sauces generally, so be aware.
Cash and card are both accepted. Walking distance from Seoul Station, so very central and easy to find.

The dumplings were very delicious, however the noodles lacked flavour. Not fully vegetarian since the kimchi contains fish

Tasty and great prices - Edit
This place seems to be fully vegetarian and has a clear vegan menu. The noodle dishes were simple but tasty and the dumplings were amazing. Much cheaper that other places we have been around Korea.

Small little place with good vegan menu. We enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly. As noted kimchi available as a side is not vegan but kimchi in the dumplings is.

Good dumplings - Edit
The dumplings are pretty good. Be careful, the plain kimchi is with fish. The kimchi in the dumplings is safe.

Pros: Good taste, Friendly staff
Cons: unsure about how vegan the ingrediences are

Convenient but bland - Edit
I got the dumplings and the cold noodles. The cold noodles were just too bland for me, I also didn’t appreciate the texture of the soup/sauce situation (but that’s probably personal). The dumplings were okay. If you’re looking for a quick snack close to Seoul station go for it, but in my opinion there are way better vegan options.

Great Kongguksu ! 😍 - Edit
I am a big fan of Kongguksu 콩국수 so I had to give it a try. First, the lady is so friendly there. The Kongguksu itself was delicious, and eating it with the radish is succulent! I really appreciate that there is a clear separate vegan menu. Don't hesitate to go there if you want to eat delicious Korean food. Be aware that Kimchi in non-vegan places is not vegan.

Separate vegan menu! - Edit
The menu is clearly labeled what is vegan, including dumplings and noodles. I had the cold soybean noodles which were good. It’s a savory soy milk broth with noodles. The only vegan side is the fermented radish.

Tasty food at affordable prices - Edit
We went there for lunch and saw many locals enjoying their meals. We ordered vegan dumplings and seasonal noodles, and both were great. If you don't like soy-based soup, I wouldn't recommend the cold bean noodles.

A bit disappointing after the good reviews here - Edit
We had the spicy noodles as someone here mentioned the traditional ones were a bit bland. They were not spicy at all, the sauce reminded a us of tomato ketchup.
Read moreIn contrast the dumplings were very tasty. We also enjoyed the pickled radish, which one can take from a container.
Service was friendly and fast.
I think there much better vegan places in Seoul, but is good to have a vegan option near the station.
Pros: Fast and friendly servive, Close to the KTX station
Cons: Not very intensive taste

A must-visit tbh - Edit
If you want to eat Korean vegan food with locals and made by Koreans, go here.
Read moreWe were very warmly welcomed by very helpful and friendly staff who made sure we knew what was vegan. They also have a huge menu board I side with vegan so clearly labelled you can’t miss it.
We ordered the Spicy Noodles, Traditional Korean Noodles & the dumplings.
The pickled radish & kimchi is self-serve so you can go hard if you’re like us and need a never-ending supply of it BUT unfortunately we didn’t realise the kimchi wasn’t vegan and have only learnt that since reading the reviews here😒
However I’d still go back here in a heartbeat, simple, tasty & delicious.
