Great food - Edit
Came here twice on my short trip, very nice food with a lot of options. Only negatives were my donut was quite dry and found the burger heavy but still would probabaly order it all over again!

Very tasty food! - Edit
We were just passing through the city but I'm so glad we decided to stop. The food was awesome, I couldn't decide what to have but eventually chose the superfood milkshake - yum and the Sweet-Root Salad which was perfect! My husband had the Mediterranean Cashew cheese baguette, it was amazing too, I'm surprised he let me have some. Wish we lived close by!

Great value, fast service, great food - Edit
Popped in for a couple of burgers and were really impressed. Great value for money - 2 different burgers, fries and sweet potato fries as well as two drinks for £22 is great. Unsurprisingly this place was busy, but don't worry if you go and it looks full - there are more seats upstairs

So much choice and great food! - Edit
Cafe thrive was one of the best quick service vegan cafes I’ve ever been to and had so much choice! In addition to the massive menu, they had a huge specials board and daily cake display. Definitely recommend their homemade seitan and everything I tried was delicious

Really fantastic menu, great choices for breakfast or lunch/dinner. Caters to vegan junk food lovers as well as those who want to stick to wholefoods! Was tempted by the whole food burger but naturally ended up with the ‘fried chicken’ one 😋

I had the vegan "chicken" burger, with garlic bread and it was beautiful. Brownie bowl for desert was to die for. Its a shame I live 2hrs away!

Great vegan cafe - Edit
People were really nice, and everything I had was really good. It’s so nice to have somewhere that doesn’t just have a veggie burger or curry (not that there’s anything wrong with those); variety is nice! The TLT was satisfying, and I wish I had asked what they used to dress the side salad because I really liked it. Also had a tiffin for dessert which, quite pleasantly, wasn’t overly sweet.

Best vegan food in Southampton - Edit
They do a wonderful vegan jackfruit and chips. Choose normal chips instead of sweet potato chips - you won't regret it.
Read moreIt would be perfect if it was in a bigger and more spacious site, with plenty of space for everybody - people with children on prams and disabled people using wheelchairs.
It would also be great to be able to order my meal via a popular food delivery app.
Pros: quality, taste, vegan
Cons: they don't work with food delivery apps, toilet is upstairs and it is very tiny, people with children block spaces with prams

Great service; friendly staff and food extremely quick to table, despite being very busy! Reasonably priced, massive portions, extensive menu and above all tasty! I look forward to visiting again and will not hesitate to recommend to my omni friends and family.
Read moreI would have loved to have given 5 stars, but unfortunately the toilets were unpleasant, ‘sticky’ and dirty. Just a note to elderly or people with mobility issues, the toilets are up a steep flight of stairs.

Nice enough. - Edit
The pastries are lovely (cream cakes, doughnuts, cookies etc) and the specials are usually great vegan versions of our favourite comfort foods. Unfortunately the rest of the menu, bar a few items (such as the chicken burger) is very average.
Read moreFurther, the service is below average. Usually slow and multiple times I have been given the wrong order, overpaid or underpaid. I can only tolerate this fact because the staff are extremely friendly... and it's the only 100% vegan place near me.
In the context of the vegan void that is Southampton and surrounding areas, this cafe is amazing. Realistically, it's just OK with the specials being the main redeeming quality.
Pros: 100% vegan, Lovely staff

Amazing selection - Edit
Had some time to kill in Southampton on 2 days over the weekend so paid 2 trips here and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic, varied menu. I had a full vegan brekkie on Friday, and took an amazing (huge!) slice of tiffin away with me. Had a lentil burger with chips and salad today which was lovely. Sat upstairs and chilled reading my book and was very much left to it. Free Wi-fi too. Give this place a visit if you’re in the area
