I love when I find a 100% vegan restaurant because I feel the graded to explore the whole menu with no worries or concerns. I tried the pav bhaji and the masala pizza. I need to return as soon as I can so I can keep looking through the menu.
Pros: The owner lives and loves vegan!, The food is delicious! , Even the walls send messages of cruelty-free love.

The owners have donated to our Project Animal Freedom Springfield IL chapter! Amazing food and genuine people.

I tried this place a few years ago when it was a food truck, and I was so excited to find out it's now a full restaurant! I ordered takeout today and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The tikka masala with cilantro rice was super flavorful, and I loved the vegan mango lassi! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Excellent Indian Street food - Edit
We stumbled upon this establishment during a recent adventure into the St. Louis region. The restaurant is proudly Vegan. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed the Samosas and Hakkan Fried Noodles, The spice was pitch perfect. They also serve Oatly soft-serve. Very fun experience, we will be back.

It’s was just okay. We were definitely let down by the 5 star review. I’d visit for the fries again ONLY if I’m in the area.

I love everything I’ve had here. All the Indian dishes and the milkshakes are crazy good. They also have a wide range of dessert options. Bonus that they’re environmentally friendly.

AMAZING - Edit
I drive 30 minutes almost every Friday to get Bombay Food Junkies. My favorite is the chicken sandwich and chicken wings my partner gets the falafel. It’s beautifully decorated, very very kind staff and they have milkshakes! And soft serve! This place is my vegan heaven. I’m not one to give reviews but this place is worth traveling out of the city for.

Decent - Edit
I recently went there and the chik'n sandwich patty tasted completely different, not in a good way, and it was overcooked. Chik'n sandwich is my only complaint, the stir fried noodles, 12 oz chocolate shake, and 3 cookies were good. I won't order the chik'n sandwich again, but I will be back! Their food is usually very delicious, they're still my favorite vegan restaurant besides Lulu's Cafe.

Filling, Warming, and Welcome - Edit
I was in St.Louis for a seminar class. Being vegan, I get nervous going into another city and finding decent vegan food. Many of the vegan places were closed due to lunch hours or breakfast time being over after 3 PM as it was 6:30 PM when I got out of class. I was hungry. I pulled up happycow.com and the first thing that pulled up was Bombay Food Junkies. I put the address in my GPS, and headed there! It was located in a mini-mall not far from the airport. When I opened the door, I instantly smelled curry, cardamom, saffron, cumin, and so many other delightful spices. I was greeted within seconds by a friendly man at the register who reminded me, "Yes, we are vegan!" He also expressed his kindness with a sample of their mango "nice" cream made with oat milk. The taste was smooth and decreased acidity. Such a great flavor without being sharp and overpowering. I ordered my food- something about the [censored]'r chikin called out to me. So, I ordered it with garlic naan as recommended to me by the man taking my order. I also had a side order of samosas with sweet chutney sauce. My phone was ready to die so I watched the atmosphere as I dined in. There were different people that sat around as the place was not crowded nor was it empty. It was a good, laid-back mix. There were people coming in for orders as well as delivery drivers. The man at the register walked around to see how the customers were doing and how was their food.
Read moreThe [censored]'r chikin was filling! It was in a tomato sauce- creamy and loaded with spices. The rice underneath was not just simple basmati rice but rice with cardamon, pepper, and chopped veggies. I couldn't even get to the garlic naan. The samosas were spicy and loaded with flavor. You could tell they put a little extra in their food.
If you are a "Earth-loving" person, they have an area where there is trash, recycling, and compost. It is listed so you have to know but there is someone around that may be willing to help you if you need.
All-in-all, the restaurant was clean, great smells, great flavor, and great atmosphere. If you are in the St. Louis area, it is definately a place to check out before leaving. I highly recommend it!
Pros: Decor, Spices, smell and aroma, Friendly staff
Cons: Pictures for trash, compost, recycling

Best Indian Food in Town - Edit
I have patronized them since the food truck, to the St. Ann location, to Creve Coeur. I was happy when they went full vegan.
Read moreEverything here ranges from good to amazing. My favs include the munch bowl, cilantro rice, buffalo wings, naanwich, masala fries, and the newest addition - firecracker shrimp. They now offer ice cream cakes and Oatly Soft Serve. I don’t like the soft serve; it has an “off” taste. Not sure if it’s the machine or the mixture. Pitty though. They also offer sweets from Royally Baked.
My main issue with them is small portions (on some items) that are overpriced.

Loved the bhel puri - it had a nice spicy kick to it. I did not love the Dahi Papdi chaat as much but the staff was so friendly and helpful and there were so many other delicious things on the menu that, when in St. Louis, I will be back.

Guilty Pleasure Type Of Food. - Edit
The serving portions are a nice size, some options are heavier than others and are tough on digestion. It does give you a heavy feeling, although everything is vegan. My pickney liked their food choices...even shared with each other.

Awesome, totally vegan restaurant! The Butter Chicken and Mango Lassi’s are amazing! Even my non vegan daughter loves it, and has been craving it since I took her. I bought a bottle of their house made Ranch dressing, which is so good, to take home with me. I’m anxious to try the rest of the items on their menu!

I waited way too long to try Bombay Food Junkies. Their fully vegan food is PHENOMENAL. I can't wait to try everything on their menu! I got a Chikn Tikka Bowl with noodles, and my husband got a Butter Chick'n Bowl. We finished off our meals with vegan cookies. We were blown away...

Not just Indian - Edit
It's not the cheapest but I do love this place for their variety of delicious vegan food. Besides the various curries (which are obviously amazing), their rice and noodle dishes deserve separate praise. Desserts are also great -- the milkshakes are perfectly indulgent, chocolate chip cookies are nice and chewy, and my husband's chocolate birthday cake was absolutely divine. They also offer a weekly meal subscription called Bombay Tiffin Club which is pretty neat (some dishes are better than others but all in all we are happy with it).

Delicious vegan eats - Edit
I went here a few days back with my omni mother who was skeptical of trying an all vegan restaurant. She got the butter chicken and falafel with a chai latte and she absolutely LOVED it. She said she was very impressed and surprised that it was all vegan, and even said she’d be back herself in the future😄
Read moreAs for me, I got the spicy chicken sandwich and masala fries with mango lassi which I highly recommend. The chicken was so crispy and the fries were so flavorful. The mango lassi was sweet and creamy. I even got some chocolate cake pops from their bakery section, which I believe switches out with tons of different housemade items.
The staff all wore masks and were very friendly. They use paper straws for drinks and paper bags for to go orders which is awesome.
Pros: Many vegan options including bakery, Environmentally conscious , Friendly staff
Cons: Pricy
