I love when I find a 100% vegan restaurant because I feel the graded to explore the whole menu with no worries or concerns. I tried the pav bhaji and the masala pizza. I need to return as soon as I can so I can keep looking through the menu.
Pros: The owner lives and loves vegan!, The food is delicious! , Even the walls send messages of cruelty-free love.

The owners have donated to our Project Animal Freedom Springfield IL chapter! Amazing food and genuine people.

Indian Vegan cuisine with a twist - Edit
Indian vegan cuisine with a twist, family owned that started in 2013 as a 100% vegetarian Indian food truck. The restaurant sits 20 tables Indoor & some outdoor seating.
Read moreThis was our first visit to Bombay food junkies (BFJ) and the hype is real. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an alternative option or a meal that will knock your socks off. The menu price(s) for 4 course(s) of tasty sides, mains, drinks & desserts all house/homemade was exceptional. Each dish & side were seasoned to the bone no pun intended. Overall, as a party of (5), we were extremely satisfied with food & most importantly the customer service / hospitality of the staff. We give this experience a 5 out of 5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Pros: Flavors, The variety, Family owned
Cons: Portions

Vibes are immaculate. Food is delicious. Staff clearly loves the food they serve and are excited to give recommendations if you ask. If you are vegan in st louis, find a way to get here. It’s absolutely worth a trip.

Most amazing food, great atmosphere and the cakes are to die for - Edit
I got the Thai Peatnut Bowl pretty much everytime I go there, atmosphere is like a cozy little diner, food is to die for, their cakes are just delicious, they do charity drives every month, literally nothing more you could ask from a vegan resturaunt and they still exceed

Over priced, loud and tiny portions (40 year Vegan) - Edit
The facility is ok, nothing special, and extremely noisy. The staff at the register were diffident, and rather unfriendly and inflexible (I asked for some hot water for my own special tea, and they loudly said it's not allowed). The food was average, and the portions were tiny. We spent $40 and went away hungry. We had the smaller portion of the fried noodle dish, buttr chickn and a garbanzo bean dish. Altogether, I am a very disappointed customer, and won't return.

I liked the food but there was a question about a second slice of cake I ordered. So I got the other part of my order but they act like it would kill them to give me the cake. I have money don't treat me like a scrub.

So good - Edit
My husband has alpha gal and we live in a rural area, and don't get to eat out much, so when we head into cities, I try to find places he can eat. This place was fantastic. Food and milkshakes were delicious. He had the chicken sandwich and fries. He couldn't believe how good it was! Will definitely save this place.

Not only is the food scrumptious, the owners are sweet and they have vegan soft serve!! They also compost and minimize their waste! We visited from Memphis and wish they had a location back there as I’m sure we would go all the time. Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant!

Worth the trip - Edit
I love Bombay Food Junkies and have been a fan of their food for a long time. Their shakes and fresh sodas are fantastic. I especially love their orange dreamsicle shake and the chocolate peanut butter shakes. Those flavors aren't on the regular menu so I always make a trip out to get a shake when either is the featured flavor of the week.
