Dumplings and a Wrap! - Edit

Read moreI started with the Flower Top dumplings. They're made of broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, and potato with a panko topping and a chili oil and yuzu coconut mint sauce. They were enjoyable, but not sure I'd order again.
Then I had the Nutty Buddy rice paper wrap. It has baby greens, soba noodles, jalapeno peanut butter, carrots, cashews, avocado, and tofu with a Ponzu sauce. It was also good.
I'll definitely go back but will try the sushi next time.

Came back after two years. They changed the menu a little, have more options now. The miso soup was perfect, but the sushi has lowered its quality. Still recommended though.

This is a more casual and much smaller location than the one on 37th. The food is still excellent, though. Everything is delicious. The nutty rice paper roll is particularly good. And really everything else. I especially recommend the cinnamon roll dessert.

This place is the best! Especially for those that have missed sushi. Not only is it vegan, but it's gluten free, and everything on the menu is wonderful. I wish they would have one by me. But any time I'm in the City, I am sure to eat here for one or more meals.

I went here because it was relatively close to my hotel in nyc via this app. I walked in, was greeted and asked for take away. She asked what I would like to enjoy? I replied: the 4 most popular things on the menu.
Read moreI will say, the Fun-Guy Dumplings were a nice surprise, they nailed it! I tried a Spicy Shroom wrap next, also excellent! I haven’t tried the Spicy Mang roll yet, it’s for tomorrow (I’m visiting and it’s in my hotel fridge) but I will be back! Awesome place.
And, per my multiple trial order, they handed me my take away bag within 10 minutes and all vessels were bound by elastic...no fooling around in the bag during the walk home. A plus! Thank you!

We came here for dinner because our hotel happened to be a stone's throw away. The place was small and packed but the tables were turning quickly, and we were seated within minutes. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was decent enough but slightly expensive for what it was. I guess it's reasonable given the location. One thing that got me a little miffed was the disposable chopsticks. I don't understand why they give those out even when you're dining in. For me this is a 3.5 rounded up to a 4.

I usually get the noodle soups, which are a great value at $12.50 compared to the rolls. I like this location as it is more of a casual dining with seating, whereas their main restaurant has a different menu and their Chelsea market venue serves only in take-away. Staff at this location was very nice and attentive.

Small enough area but ample staff who take orders from the table or as you're in line. Everything appears quickly and looks great, a feast for your eyes. I love it here and want everything on the menu. The sushi is so good but the dumplings are divine!!

The worst thing about eating here is choosing from the VAST selection of options! We decided upon the seasonal special rolls and a few of their standard popular rolls. We were not disappointed. We would go back and try the soups, noodles soups, rice paper wraps, salads, etc. If you're a vegan/vegetarian, this is on your must-visit restaurant list.

If you find yourself missing sushi, you should definitely check this place out because they know how to make it right. Not hating on the usual avocado or cucumber rolls, I just appreciate the diversity that beyond sushi offers and believe that every sushi loving vegan should try.

Having already eaten at a different Beyond Sushi on this holiday we tried this one and found a great little restaurant, the food was just as good here and we left full and happy. Also had a great iced drink as well.

We just had the sweet tree sushi which has sweet potato, avocado and alfalfa on it. We also had the mighty mushroom sushi which had an array of mushrooms and tofu. The dumplings are amazing too! Don’t forget dessert-the black bean brownie is to die for!

I’d do takeout rather than eat here—the music is too loud for me and there’s not a lot of seating. But the food is inventive and delicious. Recommend the Sampler, the coconut curry soup, and the fun guy dumplings.
