I tried almost everything in the menu and not one thing that was not up to my expectation. Everything has very good balance of flavour. Their sushi are good and the noodle salad is good too. The service is good as well. The price is very reasonable.

Love the unique way they serve the sushi. And I love the opportunity to eat sushi even though as a vegan. At this point rare seating available. Good for a quick bite. Think they have another restaurant what's more comfortable.

This is a place where to enjoy good sushi with creative flavours. The sushi was really good, just the wasabi seemed very fake, but apart from that everything was fine. Very limited seating.

Read moreAs a vegan, I am tired that every time a place offers “vegan sushi” I get avocado wrapped in rice and seaweed or something about as exciting. It’s tasteless and unoriginal. Beyond sushi, really goes beyond and brings us something innovative in the world of vegan sushi.
No two of their rolls are similar, and they all feature unconventional ingredients wrapped in tasty forbidden rice or black rice. Somehow, despite the seemingly-strange combinations of flavors, every roll and dish on their menu I have tried is amazing. Their sauces are tasty and flavorful as well, and pair beautifully with their respective dishes. Personal favorites: sweet bean wrap, mighty mushroom roll, and sweet tree roll.
I hope this place spreads to other cities soon. I have never seen a better fast food concept. Love it and cannot recommend enough!

Delicious vegan sushi. Plenty of options, great prices, super friendly employees. My main concern is that they do not have any warm sushi - like yam tempura or something with baked veggies. All sushi tasted good but like all the ingredients were just taken out from the fridge. I only tried few of their sushi and Spicy Mang was my favourite, 2nd place is Mighty Mushroom. I did not like Sunny Side, could not finish it because in my opinion they tasted like anchovies or some other fish. I think it was sundried tomato that I didn’t like. I highly recommend Nutty Buddy- that was my favourite item on the menu!

It was a pity because the food was so good, we really enjoyed the sushi and the starters. Absolutely delicious. The problem was when we wanted to pay. We were tourists and we didn't know how does it work in USA with tips and payments. Instead for explaining it to us (we were obviously not locals, carrying photo cameras and speaking not native English) the waiter started to speak extremely loud about our stupidity with the cookers. I guess he wanted us to hear it, almost yelling.

don't be fooled by the fact that it's a chain in manhattan. this place is INCREDIBLE!! you won't go wrong with any item & they even have seasonal items so once you've exhausted their huge menu you can still try something new. it's also cheap!! i can't stress enough how amazing this place is.

We ordered 3 different rolls and 2 different dumplings. La Fiesta, Sweet Tree, Chic Pea for the rolls and Fun Guy and Smokey Tom for the dumplings.

I bought two dishes. The Wild Shroom salad and the Chic Pea sushi roll. The Wild Shroom salad was more of an asian fusion dish. Very good and satisfying. The Chic Pea sushi roll had a more middle eastern flavor. Tasty but definitely not Japanese. I really liked it though.
I’m looking forward to returning. Great for a quick lunch.

Très très bon restaurant, juste à côté du MoMA donc parfait si vous souhaitez vous sustenter juste après une visite au musée (superbe endroit, d'ailleurs). Les sushis sont d'une grande qualité, avec de la recherche dans les différents goûts et pour un prix très raisonnable pour New-York. Seul bémol le nombre de places à l'intérieur, restreint, notamment si vous arrivez aux heures de pointe.

I've been here twice so far and I'm definitely going again. This place has by far the most delicious sushi I've ever had. Their other options are delicious as well but the sushi is really the star of the menu. And they have so many different ones to try out. Highly highly recommend!
