My vegan journey began 7 years ago. I moved to Macau and started a casual foodie Instagram page that quickly blossomed into a thriving community, supporting and guiding fellow vegan seekers. Back home in South Africa I founded an e-commerce store during the pandemic, offering a curated selection of vegan products and connecting businesses with customers during lockdown and a difficult economic time. I also ran thriving monthly vegan food market, and curated vegan dinner parties in secret places. I discovered the profound joy of bringing people together around nourishing meals and fostering connections that transcend food! My new venture, Umbi, works with restaurants and businesses to "grow" their plant-based offerings through recipe development, workshops and marketing. I love sharing my kitchen creations and catering for wellness retreats. Realising the transformative power of food as medicine, I expanded my passion, becoming a certified Raw Vegan Chef, as well as Cacao Ceremony facilitator, and I am expanding my knowledge of Ayurveda.
