Natural cuisine in a traditional Tuscan setting - Edit
IT:
Tutti i piatti erano 100% vegani, gustosi, ben pensati e abbondanti.
ENG:
Agriosteria del Frantoio, in Cerbaia (Scandicci), blends an active olive oil mill with a modern restaurant that celebrates local flavors with care and passion. I visited for a 50th wedding anniversary and was impressed by the kind and professional staff. As a vegan, I was served a dedicated, rich, and creative menu that even intrigued the other guests!
The chef explained each dish thoroughly and was open to last-minute changes. The menu featured house-made olive oil crostini, cannellini beans with crispy kale, artichoke carpaccio, egg-free tagliatelle with vegan ragù, asparagus risotto, polenta with seasonal vegetables, and an excellent olive oil gelato with dark chocolate crumble and berry sauce.
Every dish was 100% vegan, flavorful, well thought out, and generously portioned. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, skillfully prepared and in tune with the seasons. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic, inclusive Tuscan cuisine.
