Perfect on-the-go food - Edit
Picked up a load of rice rolls for lunch on the go. This is great value for money at 50-55 a piece. There is an English menu and you tick off which ones you want on a slip of paper - be warned that not all are vegan and the non-vegan ones are only indicated on the Chinese menu. Still a good selection of vegan options and lots of variety in flavours and fillings. They’re super fresh and made right in front of you.

I loved these rolls. I ate them everyday i was in Taichung. I also picked them up in the morning and took them on daytrips. It was very filling, super fresh and very cheap.

Nice rice rolls - Edit
A nice little eatery close to the train station. I liked their tasty and fresh rice rolls and dry noodles with sesame sauce and veggies. They have an English menu and the staff are very friendly with fast service. It is an open-air place next to a busy road so the roaring traffic makes for a not-so-tranquil dining experience. Some items come pre-packed in plastic such as the drinks and rice rolls.

Person understood all the non verbal communication and was super kind and hard working. The food is good and very cheap. It is vague to me how some of these would not contain animal products and rhe ones I tried seemed similar. Also the tofu one didn’t have tofu the way I expected, but it was tasty for sure!

The restaurant it’s super close to the train station! It’s so convenient and very cheap too. There is an English menu, the Chinese one has marked which food contains egg/milk, still many options are vegan! The owner is very kind!
