Chill spot near MAYA - Edit
Aesthetically, this place gets five stars. A small entrance way opens up to a zen garden-style inner courtyard, complete with ishidoro, water features, and trees reaching up past the roofs. They also have some indoor seating, kind of industrial Japandi style, but I always prefer to sit out in the garden.
Read moreVegan options are clearly marked on the menu, which includes yakisoba noodles and several rice dishes. Given a dedicated page are their two plant-based tonkatsu dishes, one with veg tempura on white rice and the other a Japanese curry. Both are tasty and decent value, although the former is too dry for my taste and could do with some extra sauce and salad on the side. They also have proper coffee, much to my partner’s delight, and offer soy or almond milk for an extra charge.
If you fancy a working lunch, they even have private study/meeting rooms you can rent out. They also host a bunch of different workshops, including Thai Talk Tuesdays between 18:30-20:30 which, as the name implies, is a chance to practise your spoken Thai skills with other learners and natives. Love this initiative!
Pros: Zen atmosphere 🧘♀️, Vegan clearly marked ✅, Community feel 🤝
Cons: Dry tonkatsu dish 🌵, Plant milk costs more 💰, Plastic cups and straws 🐢

Very nice vibe of a cafe and generous portions, staff is very friendly! Got a veg curry and it was super good. However the drink sucked, but the food was amazing
