The food portions were massive!!! The prices were great especially compared to what other places Newtown had to offer. I got pho, and found it a bit underwhelming. Another one of us got the wonton noodle soup and it also wasn’t amazing. BUT, we also got seafood fried rice and vermicelli with chicken and they blew us away. The fried rice is a must have!!!

Best Vietnamese food in NSW - Edit
This place really won the prize in my eyes. Usually you either get quality, quantity or value. Here you get all three which is such a rarity. The staff were so helpful, talking through the menu with us, discussing flavour and spice.
Read moreWe had a devout carnivore in our group and the food was so good it opened his eyes to trying new things. I had the Banh Xeo and shared some beetroot rice with a friend and both were astounding. Despite this we still struggled to finish it due to portion size.
Im generally not a fan of fake meat, preferring vegetables and tofu, but the satay skewers were absolutely delicious. My friend had the Pho and Spicy Satay Pot and said both were great. The staff were friendly and wanted us to try dessert but we had to leave with doggy bags as it was!
I really advise you to try this place even if Newtown wasn't on your To Visit list. Althoufh Newtown is great so do go check it out!

Massive portions and a fair price. Really found my fried rice combo to be super tasty- split it into two meals! Also tried the sweet and sour and nuggets! Nugs are good, found they taste better than most vegan ones I’ve tried. Partner really enjoyed the sweet and sour dish. Would recommend!!

Tried the Set Menu Lunch Special and it was tasty. Generous serving.
Restaurant stated no onion and garlic in items. However, there’s a bottle of Thai sauce on the table that has onion, skip adding this sauce if you don’t consume alliums.

Basic and pretty below-par. We ordered the ‘duck salad’ which was crumbed fried vegan ‘duck’ on a bed of those mixed salad leaves you find in plastic bags in the supermarket, drowned in a sickly-sweet ‘dressing’. The Sizzling Satay was missing half the veggies mentioned in its menu description, and rather than satay the sauce (albeit sizzling) was a brown starch-thickened flavourless slop.

Huge menu with loads of dishes I've missed eating. Had a bunch of dishes to share. The mock duck was so tasty in the Peking duck pancakes and a salad. Had some bbq buns, chicken skewers and vegetable fritters. Tasty meal and pretty cheap too.

Large variety, all vegan, pretty good taste. Maybe 4 stars on taste for some dishes, like the wontons, but the menu's variety makes up for that. We had the Vina pancake (banh xeo), the wontons, and the sizzling satay hot plate with the combination meats. The satay tasted the best, pretty good pancake as well. Very friendly staff, extra points for that.

Such a lovely family business, with super friendly and prompt service. Food was delicious and fresh with a range of mock meat options. Seems quite underrated compared to similar restaurants in the area and deserves more business.
