I got the cakes for take-out, they have the best cake boxes I've ever seen. Actually so convenient, the slices can't slip around or get squished. I appreciated that.
What I didn't appreciate was the price.. 6,90€ for a slice of cake?? Huh?? Anyways..
The taste was amazing tho. The red velvet is definitely vanilla-y with a tasty cream and the oreo has actual oreos in the cake - what a dream.
So it's a treat I recommend, but only once in a while for that price.

The place has changed their name to Willa but they have a great menu with lots of vegan choices. We went for breakfast and were really impressed with the choices.

We had breakfast here during our stay in Bruges. There’s a couple of vegan options (I added pictures of the menu) - we had the banana, peanut butter toast which was pretty nice although the bread seemed a bit old? We also ordered the caramel crunch latte and man it was too sweet to drink. The staff were super friendly though and the ambience is lovely!

Had some pies (6€ a piece) and coffee and tea. Nice.
Service can be slow ....
Cakes are said to be homemade (although they taste a lot like and resemble the pies from Magpies?).

Had a nice vegan bagel with scrambled tofu (12€), ginger mocktail (7,5€)and a piece of apple/ almond cake (6€). Nice food. Friendly service.
Can be a bit loud and crowded though.
And a bit of a wait when full.
Not accessible. Steps to get in. Small place. One toilet at the back.

2017 -Update: was pleasantly surprised to see on a recent visit that nearly all the pastry is vegan (except for the brownie) and homemade!
And there are now also vegan lunch options, clearly indicated on menu: soup, poké bowl, toast, bagel, and several vegan breakfast options. Friday is vegan lunch day, and brunch on Sunday, with a vegan option.
We had a piece of vegan strawberry cheezepie and oreo chocolate cake (5,5€ each), with coffee (3,50€)and tea (4€). Nice.
Although on the expensive side. A chocolate or cookie with the tea and coffee would be nice.
Terrace outside (very uncomfy chairs though) - interior is not accessible (large steps to get in).
Friendly and swift service.

This is from a visit in 2016. At that time, vegan cake was only available on Thursdays (don't know if that has changed by now).

I ended up here because the vegan places in the area were fully booked, and I am not sad about it. Vero café has limited vegan options, but what they have, is really good. I had a lemonade and the vegan egg bagel, it was delicious and filling. Moreover the staff is very friendly and professional, therefore the restaurant has a very comfortable vibe.

Oat and almond milk, plus multiple vegan cakes. It may be because it was Saturday and it was raining so no outside seating, but this place was very crowded.

Very nice, friendly cafe. It's popular so might be difficult to get a seat, but has also done outside seating options when the weather is good. Offers a range of vegan options sweet or savory, which are well indicated. The granola with vegan yogurt and fruits was delicious.

I had the Eiersalade bagel and it is the best scrambled tofu I have ever tasted! So much better than any scrambled tofu I have ever tasted. I'm not sure how they managed it but everyone needs to try it! The drinks are very fancy and tasty! The atmosphere is nice and chill too 😊

We visited this cafe as a tour guide had recommended it as one of the best places for coffee in the city. We went in, sat down, ordered our coffees, and were told you're not allowed to just order coffees, you have to order food. So that's something to be aware of. So we ordered small cakes. My boyfriend ordered a butternut squash pecan pie which was incredible. I ordered banana bread which was dry and underwhelming. Staff were nice and service was good. Nice atmosphere. Other people's meals looked great.
