Don't miss this place!

Everything about this place is great, from the bright, friendly and fast counter service to the flawlessly executed dishes that taste like love. This place is clearly the winner if you're looking for all vegan in Albuquerque. Even our non veg family like to eat here! The owners are really doing something right and it shows immediately in the dedicated staff. The flavor profiles hit the mark. Love, love love. Thank you, Vegos!

Pros: Flawless Food, Great Attentive Staff, Inspiration made real

Best enchiladas ever

The enchiladas were so good I went back the next day to get them again! Had the gfo calabacitas & grilled tofu enchiladas plate w green chilies, absolutely delicious! Staff was super friendly and it was really quick too. I took mine to go and had a picnic at the park down the street, but they do have tables inside and out. Will definitely go back next time I’m in ABQ - by far the best vegan restaurant in the city!!

Pros: Enchiladas!!, Friendly staff

Fun Delicious Innovative Vegan

The creativity of this restaurant is off the charts and the food is expertly prepared and fresh. The bread is amazing and every dish I have ordered is delicious. The treatment of the tofu and seitan is award worthy top level!! With that said, I wish they would cut up the seitan for the Philly sub more to make it easier to eat, and the soy curls in the po’boy- wish the curls were bigger, but that’s just constructive criticism to some very interesting vegan subs. Overall, it feels like yummy homemade vegan food! Glad you are on DoorDash! With their obvious ability and creativity, I wish they offered a regular house salad and more dessert selection. So happy to find Vegos- it is one of the best vegan spots in town. I’m just offering a few suggestions that could make it even better in my opinion. Keep rocking Vegos you are an Albuquerque superstar! I’ll be back! Please keep up with consistency don’t rest on your laurels!

Awesome ABQ spot

I really enjoyed this place. Everything I tried at lunch was great so I got dinner to go as well. The service is also very friendly.

I could eat here every day

Vegos does legit scrumptious vegan versions of the New Mexican classics, and the flavors and textures are tops. The chile relleno, chilaquiles, and Loco Tostaritto are all delicious. Their jackfruit burrito, “El Jefe” (apparently no longer on the menu as of mid-2024) was a feast in itself (I ordered it without the rice and potato since I don’t need that much starch, and with the “Make it loco” option, which is rich and yummy).

Service was warm and there’s free parking out front.

We’ll come back every time we’re in town.

Enjoy!

Maybe I came on an off day?

Whilst the prices were amazing, the food was all pretty bland - and I typically like bland food. But this was REALLY bland. The bean and cheese burrito had very little cheese (I wasn’t even convinced any was in there). My stuffed sopapilla was supposed to have Calabacitas but didn’t. The staff were super lovely!

Pros: Decor, Staff, Price

Cons: Flavor

Our go to ABQ vegan eatery

So many yummy options from the full range of New Mexican food to faux chicken and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and even desserts. We have yet to work our way through the whole menu.

Pros: The Sando , The Philly, The Loco Tostaritto

Good vegan stop

My food wasn't served as hot as I would like (not in a spicy way, it was very spicy!) and the tortilla was kind of hard and eh. They have other things on their menu I would get though. Kind cashier!

So So Good!

So many good options, but get the concha!! It was perfect! The “chicken” was fresh and crunchy. Definitely will be back to try more things!

Not to be missed

You must visit if you are in the area! The stuffed sopapilla was out of this world! Fried tofu sandwich also the best I've ever tasted. Generous portions and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Great New Mexican cuisine

We tried the enchilada plate with both green and red chili sauces on the side, and the sopapilla (fried dough) filled with beans, potatoes and seitan. Both dishes were very tasty. The red chili sauce was very spicy.

Prices were quite reasonable and portions generous. The counter staff were very welcoming.

Pros: Tasty New Mexican dishes, Generous portions, reasonably priced , Welcoming staff

Super, Super Delicious!!

I ate lunch here while on a business trip. Had researched this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I had the Sandra burrito and wow, was it tasty. I am going to have dinner here as well so I can try one of the fried tofu sandwiches.

Pros: Sandra burrito, Fast service, Friendly staff

Cons: So popular that parking is a challenge.

Yummy, quick, inexpensive Mexican!

Even the $5.50 little burritos are decently sized (and tasty!) Added fries and they were deliciously salty.

Love this place

I have eaten here several times, but this was my first time at the new location. The food has always been excellent. I love the Chile relleno, the churros, the elotes, etc. Now they’ve expanded their menu and I was so excited to try new stuff I had to grab stuff to go. It’s casual, there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is always friendly and efficient.

Excellent!

We love their burritos and that you can get them as a bowl instead. We also love the Philly and the Chickpea sub. Now that they are co- located with their sister restaurant (Nobody calls me Chicken) deciding what to order will be harder, but deciding which restaurant to go to is easy! Make sure to watch for their special items around the holidays, like tamales!

Yummy but…

I loved Vegos. The staff were super friendly and there were lots of choices. I had the loaded fries. They were super delicious but I wish the fries were a little bit crispier. Otherwise they were smothered deliciousness. I also ordered a Satan burrito to go for lunch the next day. That was extremely delicious. Recommended.

This food was soooo good. We ate there on Saturday on our trip, but when we tried to go back Sunday, it was closed! So bummed. I had the enchiladas. They were excellent.

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Closed Sunday/Monday

Delicious!!

We were getting into Albuquerque late and ordered food to pick up at the latest time possible, arrived just after close. Food was piping hot and the woman who helped us was incredibly friendly. Each got a burrito - fantastic stop!

Good, but not great!

My wife has a soy allergy and they cook most of their food in soy oil.
Its good but could use some help.
All she could get to eat was rice and queso. The rice was bland and the cheese sauce/queso was ok.
I had the El Jefe with red chili sauce and it was pretty good.
They should use a better oil and raise the prices on their menu. Cheap soy oil is not the way to go.
Also a little salt goes a long way.

Pros: The El Jefe is huge.

Cons: Food is cooked in soy oil.
