Tasty Vegan Pizza - Edit
We went to Vegitalien during our Amsterdam vacation. We went there because we wanted vegan Italian food. The restaurant is very nice and cozy. My boyfriend and I shared garlic bread as a starter and we each had a pizza. Everything was delicious. There are several vegan options, and many dishes can be ordered vegan. The service was very friendly. Overall, it was a delicious and pleasant restaurant visit.

Two nights in a row! - Edit
Vegitalian is SO GOOD!
Read moreFirst night, came for their non-pepperoni pizza (vegan). It was so delicious. The crust was wonderful and it was so thin that it was easy to just devour.
Second night (pictured shown), we shared the vegan Caesar salad, the cauliflower, and then the main dish of the pumpkin rigatoni pasta, and then to finish the pistachio tiramisu. Literally everything was SOO tasty. The dessert was such a surprising treat. Everything was amazing!!

Solid but not my new fave - Edit
There are better Italians in town but I like that this one is fully veg of course. We tried the truffel and no pepperoni pizza, a ravioli and another pasta. The food was nice but not something I would come back for. Great for groups though and really cosy place.

Good pizza, pasta, sharing plates - Edit
Latest update, third visit: the vegan caesar salad is still great, and the pizzas are very good and filling: the vegan pepperoni one is the tastier but the vegan four cheese one is impressively cheesey.
Read moreWe enjoyed it all: two of the vegan pizzas (we ordered a second of the pepperoni one), funghi pasta, and two vegan sharing dishes (cabbage and cauliflower). We'll be back.
Update now we have indeed been back. We shared two sharing dishes: aubergine and pepper ravioli with nduja (spicy yum!) and caesar salad (with olives instead of egg in the vegan version). Both were great and the salad was huge. For mains we had the truffel papardalle (because he loved it the last time we were here) and the spinach and lemon ravioli (though we'd ordered a different spinach dish) and again both were great. Good wines too.
Vegitalian is definitely a favourite now.

Amazing! - Edit
One of the best vegan pizzas we have ever tried. No-peperoni was super delicious. We also tried Caesar sandwich and tomato soup. Some things are vegetarian but most of them can be made vegan. Great atmosphere and design as well.

My experience was a bit mixed. To start, the service was noticeably chaotic; it felt like the staff was not fully in sync. This created a somewhat disorganized atmosphere.
Read moreAs for the food, it was decent but didn’t quite stand out. The pizza was overly oily, the pasta while initially flavorful, became repetitive and monotone after a few bites—it seemed to lack the depth or variety that would keep the dish interesting.

Actually I have to say I just love the vegan truffle pizza and I don’t need anything else. I have never been able to find a vegan truffle pizza elsewhere and its is absolutely amazing.

We were here during our holiday in Amsterdam and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was super busy but the staff was extremely attentive and kind. The pizza and pistachio desert were really yummy! We also really liked the warm and cozy interior of the place!

Favorite Italian place - Edit
The food is so good! I very much love pasta and this one does not disappoint! 🍝
Read moreI've been here on two occasions, both times we ordered pasta and every time it was amazing. I'm especially fond of their pumpkin ravioli, but I only saw this the first time we went, so maybe it is a seasonal special? 🎃
We tried a smaller pizza to share which was also well above average 🍕
Their pink gin and tonic was rather sweet and appeared very fancy 🩷 It was very fruity which I enjoyed 🍓
We finished with icecream topped with espresso which was lovely just like the other menu items ☕🍨
Normally, I only give 5 stars to all vegan places, but since this is an all vegetarian spot with a mostly vegan (upon request) menu I want to give them five stars ⭐ Because, the food is simply so good! 🍽️
Pros: Many vegan options 🌱, Lots of great pasta 🍝, Doesn't serve meat! 🥕
Cons: Some dishes are only vegan upon request

Middling - Edit
We had a garlic bread, aubergine ravioli, and a pizza to share, and we found it middling. The fake cheese was sort of overpowering on the garlic bread, we couldn't taste the aubergine in the ravioli and it was garnished with some kind of fried crumble that reminded me of when you have to clean the deepfryer out, which being fried was overpoweringly bitter and oily and spoilt the mouthfeel of the rest of the dish, and then the pizza we had, which had olives, samphire, raw red onion that had been singed in the pizza oven, and bell pepper, tasted like a random assortment of flavours that clashed with each other. I've heard the desserts are excellent though and the staff are friendly. At one point, the place stank of cheese. Once we came on a Saturday morning and it was just shut without any notice. I wouldn't recommend it but I wouldn't beg you not to go either.

Great desserts - Edit
We only came for desserts because we loved tiramisu before we went vegan and they had a pistachio one on the menu.

We also had the delizia Al Limoncello which was lovely though there was a really hard chunk of chocolate in the middle which might have been an accident!

This was the best Pizza I've ever eaten. It's simply delicious! A lot of creamy cheese, different flavours, thin dough and fluffy cross pizzacrust. You can order all Pizzas, except for one, as vegan option. Desserts also looked yummy. A big compliment for the stuff. We felt really welcomed ♡

Fancy but not cheap - Edit
When we sat down, we were offered a glass of prosecco, which made us assume this was a drink on the house. We all agreed it was a bit of a misleading gesture when it eventually appeared on the bill.
Read moreHowever, our bottle of water got refilled multiple times and they did not charge us for that.
I liked the cheese on the pizza, which was exactly what it should be. The size did not disappoint us either. They could improve bu putting some more veggies on it, because 4 olives on one pizza is not satisfying.
My ravioli was not served warm, but when I asked them to heat it up a bit, they threw it all away and gave me a new portion instead. What a waste.
Service is quite slow, but that’s understandable considering the size of the restaurant.
Pros: A lot can be made vegan, Cheesy cheese, Friendly stuff
Cons: Throwing food away for no reason, No separate bathrooms, Few veggies on pizza
