Wow - Edit
I knew this place would be great but I could not have anticipated the flavours and how fun the actual experience of trying each one is. We waited about 15 min to get a seat and then it takes about 20min to get your gyoza. The strawberry soda with cream was such a refreshing treat. Don’t miss out on this place!

Simply a must visit - Edit
I've been here twice in one week just because the first time the pan fried gyoza were so good that I had to come back and try them steamed as well.
Read moreI also tried 2 of their craft beers and they were both pretty good, I especially recommend the "after dark" if you like dark beer

Nice - Edit
We went there with a bigger group, and it was no problem at all — just make sure to contact the restaurant beforehand and reserve a table.
Read moreThe place itself is small, clean, and nicely designed. The staff were super friendly and really attentive.
We ordered the 11 colorful gyoza, both fried and steamed. They tasted good — not mind-blowing, but still enjoyable. They also look great! You eat them without soy sauce, and they don’t serve any unless you specifically ask for it. That was fine by me.
What I missed a bit, though, was that they only serve gyoza — nothing else. No small side dishes like edamame or tofu, and no dessert either. It’s literally just gyoza.
Another thing I noticed: there were only foreigners there. I honestly felt like I was somewhere in Europe or the US. Of course, it’s about the food and the experience, but it really stood out to me.
Pros: Extremely friendly service , Delicious gyoza , Cute restaurant
Cons: No side dishes , Many, many tourists

Vegan gyoza - Edit
Gyoza are big and flavourful! Some flavours are a little salty. I wish you could pick the flavours in a set instead of getting one of everything.

Best Gyoza I had - Edit
As the title says, these where by far the best gyoza I had in my three weeks in Japan. They are so juicy (no sauce needed) and all flavors are delicious and strong in their individual taste.

This was crazy good. We were two adults and two kids, we tried to order 4 plates but was adviced it was to much(good advice) 3 plates was good enough to fill us up properly, everyone thought it was amazing even the youngest who is very picky with food. Service was also good

Delicious gyoza, everything was vegan so no need to pick round the menu - we could try everything - and did! They do 11 different flavours of gyoza, all different bright colours, so we had the set with all 11! Nice craft beer to wash them down. Lovely staff - English speaking and very helpful.

What a great place. It’s a little out of the way in a mostly residential neighborhood but it’s so worth the trip. The gyoza were the best I’ve ever eaten, the staff could not have been more welcoming and the place itself is minimalist beauty.

Not a Gyoza lover - loved these gyoza - Edit
I’m not ordinarily fond of Gyoza but when in Japan….
Read moreWent to Vegan Gyoza Cafe with vegans, a vegetarian and an omnivore and the omnivore said it was the best food he’s had the whole time he’s been in Japan.
The gyozas were all amazing with so many different varieties. We couldn’t decide so we got the full set and then ordered more of our favourites. Had beer and sodas as well and reasonably priced considering how much we ordered.
The staff were super lovely also.
Highly recommend.
Pros: Great variety of gyozas and so good, Staff super friendly, Reasonably priced

I have no mouth, and I must eat - Edit
It is the fifth day of our travels through new Edo. I have anticipated it to be a flesh-ridden experience, but am still in awe of the myriads of ways earthlings have found to consume carcasses. The boiling is only the beginningI am pleased (in the true meaning only the pure soul knows) that this place has endowed me with faith in the taste of Her, Gyoza. It is traumatic in the best of ways.

Super tasty! - Edit
So good but also SO FILLING- The insides of all of them have soy(?) protein so don’t order too many. We both usually eat big portions but should have shared this as we only ate about half each even though they were super good.

I tried both gyoza sets: fried and steamed. Both were amazing! I love the variety of flavors and ingredients used. My non-vegan friends enjoyed it just as much. I also had an iced matcha with delicious strawberry cream on top. I definitely recommend!

Tasty treat - Edit
We ordered 2 sets of the 11 mixed gyoza, one steamed and the other fried. Both were delicious but there wasn't a notable taste difference between the 2 versions. So if you're health conscious, you can reliably opt for the steamed gyoza. We also ordered the lemon soda and the blue creamed soda. The lemon soda was refreshing, though unsweetened, and the blue one was lightly sweetened and very creamy. If in the area, this place is worth a try for a variety of original gyoza flavors. To beat the dinner rush, arrive before 5:00 pm.
