Highlight of my trip

Vegan Gyoza was a highlight of my trip to Japan.

Get a set of all the different flavors. Each is a little different and delicious in its own way. They are so moist; it’s absolutely true you don’t need sauce! The drinks were tasty too!

The location is a little out of the way from major attractions but is worth the trip.

Eaten here a ton!

Love this place. I come here at least once every time I visit Japan. It’s consistant and so flavorful.

Creative flavors

I had the 11-flavor set with steamed gyoza selected. Really surprised by how each ingredient stands out. The atmosphere is very cozy. However, some gyozas are a bit too salty to my taste and some not umami enough; overall, I would like the seasoning to be more balanced.

Vegan gyoza cafe

This restaurant serves only gyozas and drinks, but 11 kinds of gyozas with interesting fillings, and lots of different vegan drinks (made with plant milks). Atmosphere is casual and pleasant.

Fancy-looking, but disappointing

We had high expectations as the restaurant has mostly positive reviews, but we left disappointed. The colourful gyozas are of course very Instagramable, but not that good. Even if you can choose different tastes and fillings, they were all almost the same, with miso and lots of salt, especially as for Japanese cuisine, and the dough was quite thick. Also, I think that portions are way too big.

Pros: Atmosphere

Excellent product and quality

This restaurant is worth a visit.
I loved the gyoza, the quality is unmistakably high.
However I have to admit that some had a very strong/salty taste, which was almost too much for me. And I am quite used to savoury.

In any case I would totally advise to try it and to try the platter with 11 dumplings to be able to experience all of them. I had the steamed ones and would choose this again!

Pros: Grea variety of tastes, Beautiful to the eyes

Nette Atmosphäre, die besten Gyozas, die ich je gegessen habe, schmecken gar nicht nach Fleisch, wie ich befürchtet hatte, sondern in 11 unterschiedlichen Geschmackssorten super lecker!!

Unsatisfactory experience

Need to post regular hours, have take-out available, more seating, larger menu selection.

Pros: Ambience was relaxed, Outdoor seating available, Menu items appropriate for our needs

Cons: Arrived Wednesday at 1:00pm, no seats available, Although restaurant full, NO ONE had food on table, No option for take-out

The best dumplings ever

I didn't know dumplings could taste THIS good. Without a doubt, a repeat restaurant for me. I tried them both steamed and fried and they taste so similar, I'd recommend just going straight for the steamed ones. I really appreciated the variety of coffee options (as well as the coffee cream top).

Personal favorites: Yellow shiitake, Green pepper, Chinese chives, Coriander, Eggplant miso, Kimchi, Green onion miso (it's hard to narrow them down any further)

Wow

I knew this place would be great but I could not have anticipated the flavours and how fun the actual experience of trying each one is. We waited about 15 min to get a seat and then it takes about 20min to get your gyoza. The strawberry soda with cream was such a refreshing treat. Don’t miss out on this place!

Simply a must visit

I've been here twice in one week just because the first time the pan fried gyoza were so good that I had to come back and try them steamed as well.
I also tried 2 of their craft beers and they were both pretty good, I especially recommend the "after dark" if you like dark beer

Nice

We went there with a bigger group, and it was no problem at all — just make sure to contact the restaurant beforehand and reserve a table.

The place itself is small, clean, and nicely designed. The staff were super friendly and really attentive.

We ordered the 11 colorful gyoza, both fried and steamed. They tasted good — not mind-blowing, but still enjoyable. They also look great! You eat them without soy sauce, and they don’t serve any unless you specifically ask for it. That was fine by me.

What I missed a bit, though, was that they only serve gyoza — nothing else. No small side dishes like edamame or tofu, and no dessert either. It’s literally just gyoza.

Another thing I noticed: there were only foreigners there. I honestly felt like I was somewhere in Europe or the US. Of course, it’s about the food and the experience, but it really stood out to me.

Pros: Extremely friendly service , Delicious gyoza , Cute restaurant

Cons: No side dishes , Many, many tourists

Vegan gyoza

Gyoza are big and flavourful! Some flavours are a little salty. I wish you could pick the flavours in a set instead of getting one of everything.

Wow

This was crazy good. We were two adults and two kids, we tried to order 4 plates but was adviced it was to much(good advice) 3 plates was good enough to fill us up properly, everyone thought it was amazing even the youngest who is very picky with food. Service was also good

excellent - well worth a visit

Delicious gyoza, everything was vegan so no need to pick round the menu - we could try everything - and did! They do 11 different flavours of gyoza, all different bright colours, so we had the set with all 11! Nice craft beer to wash them down. Lovely staff - English speaking and very helpful.

Pros: very tasty gyoza, craft beer, nice staff

Cons: A bit tricky to find down a side street.

Everything is vegan and super delicious! We got the fried gyoza set and the steamed gyoza set and they were both superlative.
