Truly amazing - Edit
Arrived at 3 on a rainy Sunday and still experienced a 30 minute wait. BUT it was so worth it!! The gyoza were incredible- so pretty and delicious beyond words. They had a great array of drinks as well. This is a cannot miss stop in Tokyo.

Great food, long wait - Edit
Let's start with the great part: the food itself. Definitely the best vegan gyoza I've ever had. I got the steamed set and it was delicious. All the ones with "miso" in the name were the best, along with the green pepper. The coriander one was also notable. All stuffed with delicious soy meat and other ingredients. Now, the real talk: Be ready to wait. Possibly a long time. We waited in a queue outside for 40 min. Then another 30 min for our food once we sat down. The server was very sweet and apologetic for the wait. It wasn't her fault. I think this place really needs to hire one more person to help out. The staff were all friendly and doing their best, but the place is just too popular. The payoff is quite delicious, but I probably wouldn't have chosen to wait if it wasn't a bit of a vegan food desert in the area. TL;DR: If you don't show up too hungry and are willing to wait, the steamed gyoza set is quite yummy.

Omg....what an experience - Edit
What an experience. Firstly, each gyoza was thick with filling and PACKED with flavor. Each gyoza had its own unique and incredibly delicious flavor.

DELICIOUS GYOZA - Edit
Exceeded expectations! We would have been happy with one type of Gyoza but they have more than 10 different flavours! We each ordered a mix plate and enjoyed them one by one reviewing the flavour. None of them disappointed. Incredibly delicious.

Great out of the way stop - Edit
We decided to stay in Ueno, not sure that was the best idea. This spot is a quick car ride away. This place was awesome… we were so relieved after multiple restaurant strike outs. The veggie gyoza were so delicious! They really built a nice flavor palate that won’t disappoint.

Best gyozas in the world - Edit
I had never had the fortune to have a complete set of vegan gyozas. The flavours and the colors of these are a work of art. An absolute delight. We had the set menu that had 11 different types of gyozas and it did not dissappoint. If you are in Tokyo, do not miss this spot. The staff is super lovely.

The best gyoza - Edit
This place serves the best gyoza in the world. They have 11 different flavors. You can pick or have the mixed plate, which u can ask both steamed or pan fried. We got both and were super happy. The owner is also so kind and nice. A must visit if you're in Tokyo!

Exceeded Expectations - Edit
Cute little vegan gyoza restaurant. The goyza is offered fried or steamed. We ordered the set and got them fried. They were all delicious however, the kimchi, green onion miso, and eggplant miso were my favorites. It was fun trying all the flavors! They also have a ton of vegan drinks and lattes to choose from.

So pretty! - Edit
The gyozas are tasty and very pretty, and the service is great, plus everything being vegan is such a luxury for us vegans but despite the restaurant's stance on sauces, I thought the gyozas could have done with a sauce as I found them a tiny little bit dry but frankly I would still return without hesitation.

A bit out of the way based on where we were staying but the food is totally worth it. Cool little shop that led us to a beautiful part of town we would not have seen otherwise. Thanks!

best meal i had in japan! - Edit
visited on 20th march 2024
Read morethis is probably the best restaurant i have ever visited. we sat outside despite the cold weather, because they have a lovely tent with heaters that feels super cozy and home-like. this restaurant has such a unique concept; they only serve gyoza, which come in all different colours due to the veg inside them. we got the mixed set, which came with a card telling you what all the different flavours were. every single gyoza was delicious and the staff were lovely. it is tucked away outside central tokyo and is definitely worth seeking out, you won't find anywhere else like this place in the world😄
Pros: unique concept, incredible range of flavours, cosy environment

this is my mecca - Edit
I came to Japan for two things and two things only this month…my beloved friend’s wedding and to taste these dumplings…not necessarily ordered in importance. Within this safe space (happycow) I feel brave enough to say that unfortunately vegan food can be a miss in Japan (the tyranny of the gluten free cafes) so while I’m usually enjoying myself, there are maybe only like three places where I’m BLOWN away and this is one of them (other one is marbre vegan and 2foods is also a reliable basic) and this one is by far my favorite. The dumpling skin has that nice thick handmade texture (they make the dumplings fresh every morning), and will make you full pretty quickly. The filling is fragrant and the definition of mouth watering, exploding in savory juices. I’m a green onion dumpling truther but the shiitake and kimchi are also amazing. And if you’re not a picky eating child like me you should actually just get the set that has all the different types (again, the dumplings are super filling so come hungry).
