Sesame Balls!!! - Edit
I used to come here just to get a bunch of sesame balls to go, and I finally ate here for lunch and I can't wait to come back. So many choices, such great service, all vegan. Win-win-win! Oh, and did I mention the addictive sesame balls? Lol

So many options, had Mongolian vegan beef, and orange vegan chicken with brown rice. The protein tasted great and the vegetables were crunchy and fresh

Great food awesome staff - Edit
It took me a few minutes to decide what to order because there are so many good options. The staff could tell I was indecisive and suggest the vegan chicken chow mein. Great advice! It was super tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I wish I lived in Sacramento as I would be here all the time.

Awesome asian food that hit the spot - Edit
Was craving some asian food and this place did not disappoint. Had the dimsum, chow mien and general tso's tofu. Everything was good and flavorful. Only minor complaint was that the complimentary rice with the tofu entree was not enough.

So yummy! - Edit
Really delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered vegan chicken chow mein and it was piping hot and fresh even after delivery to my house. The vegan chicken was legit. The vegan ribs with pumpkin and Taro and broccoli was super delicious as well and seemed pretty healthy and was very filling and reasonably priced. Spring rolls hot and yummy if not the healthiest. They threw in free sesame balls which were perfectly fried and not too sweet. They had some healthier veggie and tofu options if fake meat isn’t your thing. Will order again for sure!!

Delicious vegan Chinese food - Edit
There are 2 restaurants sharing the same space: E Tea (bubble tea restaurant that has vegan and nonvegan bubble tea) and Vegan Deadly Sins (vegan Chinese restaurant.
Read moreI went in with low expectations after reading the luke-warm reviews here, but I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious! I did warn my family that a couple of the reviews suggested avoiding the vegan chicken, so no one ordered any vegan chicken dishes. I tasted the spicy wontons (with a chewy, meaty filling and not too spicy), the string beans & eggplant with black bean sauce (string beans were perfectly crisp-tender and the eggplant was soft and the sauce was delicious), and the double cooked pork (with soft smoky tofu and vegan pork and crisp-tender cabbage). The rest of my family also loved their food including the very picky older generation, who tried to speak with the staff in Mandarin but the staff did not speak Mandarin.
The tapioca boba for the bubble tea (from E Tea) is described as “honey boba” but they assured me that it is vegan honey from plants, not bees. They did not get specific so I don’t know if it’s a sugar syrup or maybe agave or something else.
You order your food at the counter, sit down, and it is brought to your table when it is ready. Everything is served in disposable takeout containers, even if you are eating there, although I hope this is a temporary situation because of covid.
Pros: Delicious, A big, varied menu, Large portions
Cons: Plastic/disposable containers and utensils

Convenient and lots of options - Edit
Good vegan food destination downtown. Lots of Chinese/Thai/curry dishes to chose from and wide selection of drinks, some made with fresh fruit. Try the Mongolian vegan beef.

Not sure about this place, need clarification - Edit
We ordered veggie fried rice that ended up being generic and more on the bland side. What I was mostly concerned about is when I ordered the green tea with aloe drink from their online menu which said nothing about honey but when we received the drink it said “green tea with honey” on the label without any indication of aloe. We took it back and told them we couldn’t have honey but the employee insisted it wasn’t “real” honey. We tried to find the ingredients list on the drink ourselves but found the brand of the drink instead so we chose to call them out of curiosity to see if the drink had real honey. They told us there was a possibility it wasn’t real honey but could not say for sure if it was actual honey or not. This was disappointing because when I originally ordered the drink from their online menu, there was no name or statement of honey for this particular item, it was only stated as “green tea with aloe”
Read moreFor anyone interested in this drink or has anymore information, I’d love some clarification only because it kind of puts me off from this restaurant now. I’d be willing to try them again but not before my main options of loving hut, Anna’s in the area and with strong clarification that what I’m ordering is 100% vegan
I also feel like this was more of a first impression of the place and without having tried anything else on the menu, I can’t share further input on the quality and flavor of the food even though the veggie fried rice was not a hit for us

Threw most of it away - Edit
The fake chicken that they use literally smells funny. It tastes weird too, so much so that I threw out most of the two dishes that I got. I literally could not eat it. It's almost impossible to eat food that smells bad.

Delicious—best meat dupes! - Edit
We absolutely love Vegan Deadly Sins! You probably get 2 servings per entree, but you can easily eat a whole entree by yourself in one sitting. The flavors are phenomenal but can get pretty expensive if you’re ordering for multiple people. Their complementary bean balls are my favorite! Also recommend ham fried rice, chicken chow mein, and hot and sour soup! YUM!

We’ve ordered take out from here several times now- our favorites are the wonton soup and Kung Pao “chicken” - all fresh tasting and not oily like regular Chinese.
