Not sure how this place only has 3.5 stars… - Edit
Came for the vegan chef challenge and was totally impressed by both dishes I tried! The harvest hash was delicious but the toolbox tofu sandwich was the star! Great flavors and beautiful presentation for both. The chef at this restaurant is actually vegan…so I’m sure that is why such great vegan food comes from the kitchen. Also tried the alfajor, which I haven’t had since going vegan, and it was so good! Everything was delicious!

Great food and great beer - Edit
I got the oyster mushroom poboy sandwich. It was super tasty! Apparently the head chef is vegan so there's a few vegan stuff on the menu. They also have vegan jambalaya, but I haven't tried it.

Yummy food, slow service - Edit
I like the Tofu Hash. Really yummy. They do bottomless mimosas for brunch too. Plus you can bring your pups 🐶 on the terrace.

Vegan Options Abound - Edit
Food is good, not great. Many vegan options for brunch, lunch or dinner. Decent prices and portion sizes.

Great! - Edit
Things were plainly labeled as vegan, they were multiple vegan options and every category And we got our food quick and had a great experience. Some reviews say they are really slow and terrible but we went on Tuesday morning 🤷🏻♀️

Super Vegan Friendly - Edit
Love this place for a casual Saturday morning brunch. Great breakfast burrito and wonderful menu options for a vegan and Omni group. My only disappointment has been the house-made vegan burger, as the patty was an odd texture, fell apart, and the flavor wasn’t my fav. Other than that, I’ve had a great experience each time I’ve visited for takeaway, dine in, or patio seating. Go here over the restaurant accorsa the street any day of the week!

Super Cute Cafe - Edit
There Vegan Po’Boy was amazing, awesome coffee, kind staff, slow pace but, we were not in a hurry. Definitely a must for a lunch pit stop!

Cook is very vegan and gluten-free friendly - Edit
The kitchen is willing to work will all sorts of dietary restrictions, so if what you want is not on the menu, ask! I enjoyed the tacos at one visit. At the next visit, the waitress suggested that the cook could prepare what she called a vegan, gluten-free hash with tofu. I wouldn't call it hash, I'd call it a delicious healthy meal of fresh veggies and tofu, seasoned lightly, as I requested. I will definitely trust this chef at all future visits.

Food ok, super slow - Edit
We found the food just ok. They were out of smoothies and hot chocolate. Super slow, took an hour for simple food.

Service was the major con - Edit
Delicious food but service was horrible. Waited for food 30 minutes for food of two, waiter never checked on us or gave refills on our water.

Happy to have options while traveling - Edit
I was traveling for work, and Capital Garage was walking distance from my hotel and offered a clearly labeled menu for vegan and vegetarian choices. I ended up eating there twice because it was so convenient. I had the veggie pasta and the vegetables were incredibly fresh, with perfect broccoli. One of the bartenders mentioned they have an all vegan menu on Tuesday nights and I wish I was still in town to try it. I was just happy not to be eating carnival food.

Good and tasty vegan options - Edit
A nice pub style environment with several vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. The tofu tacos were delicious as well as their vegan burger and curry risotto... The portions were huge but I couldn't stop eating! They also have a good selection of beers!
