Tasty - Edit
I ordered the spicy ramen, gyoza, and crackers with raisin cream?. Everything was really good. My favorite is by far the crackers- must order! Very friendly workers. Located on the second floor.

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
Amazing range of meals and sides, ramen was absolutely delicious, as were the gyozas and Buffalo "chicken". I also got a soda float which was delightful. Bonus, it's just down from the hedgehog cafe

Das Essen hat und hier richtig gut geschmeckt. Leider waren die Portionen ein wenig klein, wodurch wir 2 mal bestellt haben. So wurde es leider ein wenig teuer

Good Noodle Soup - Edit
I liked a lot that there are dishes without onions, and some other things, but mostly the onions because I have problems with onions and it can be difficult to find vegan food without them. I had a very tasty noodle soup that I forgot the name of and my mother had ramen she is not vegan or vegetarian but often eats at these places with me. It was quite good. The seasonal pomegranate and goji berry soda was also delicious.
Read moreIt is kind of difficult to find the restaurant though, as Google maps seems to have no idea how to get to it once in the right location. You have t o take an elevator to reach it, look for the signs for it. They say vegan in English, which may be helpful.

Great place hidden on second floor - Edit
This place sells a range of japanese food, fake meats and drinks. You will find it via the lift on the left hand side as you look at the building, on floor 2.

Really good food and service - Edit
I've been here 3 days as of this review. I've had the soymeat burger and the soymeat Juju. I highly recommend getting the double portion of soymeat for those dishes as the upcharge is not that high.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Tokyo - Edit
Everything we had was really good. The gyoza were incredible, and we got the spicy tsukemen and the juju grill. The tsukemen had incredible flavor and was really filling; so far its my favorite dish I've had anywhere in Tokyo (as well as the only one that I'd say was even a bit spicy). The juju grill was also delicious, and it's served sizzling on an iron plate which is fun.
Read moreFor dessert I had the seiran cream soda, which I had mixed feelings about. Loved the color change, the soda, and the kohakuto (crystal jelly candy! very fun), but the ice cream left a little to be desired when mixed with the soda. I'll be back to try the other desserts.
Can be difficult to find, so make sure you know the logo or the name of the restaurant (ヴィーガンビストロじゃんがら) as the only signs I saw for it were in Japanese. You have to take an elevator from the street to get there.
Pros: Large portions, Great menu, Seriously the best
Cons: Hard to find

Quiet bistro with vegan comfort food - Edit
I like this bistro above the ramen place of the same name. I actually am not a big fan of their ramen..but their karaage, gyoza and vegan mentaiko over hot rice is very good. I also like the place being quiet and relaxing. Near jr Harajuku.

Lovely vegan spot in Tokyo!! 💕 - Edit
Stopped by Vegan Bistro Jangara after visiting the Meji Shrine, as it's in the area. Struggled with finding the spot, but you take the elevator up to the second floor from the street level.

Off to a great start… - Edit
This is my first vegan stop on this trip to Tokyo and it’s a good one. The ramen here was flavorful and the mock meat they used was delicious. I also had the mentaiko which was delectable, perfect combination of salt and spice on a soft bed of rice. Definitely recommend.

So far my favorites have been Izakaya Masaka and Nagi Shokudo both in Shibuya. And of course Saido, which is a bit pricey but a must visit. Just have to book a Table online in advance.

Pretty good vegan ramen - Edit
I got the spicy tonkatsu and gyozas. It was pretty good, but I was not a huge fan of the noodles, and it seemed like a lot of the starch had gone into the broth. The raspberry mousse cake was frozen, which I was not expecting.

My favorite vegan ramen - Edit
I’ve tried a few vegan ramens in Japan and Vegans Bistro Jangara has my favorite. The ramen here is just so flavorful. The noodles they use are my preferred type where it’s thin and chewy. The “meat” on top was smoky and flavorful. I also had a side of vegan “mentaiko” which I’ve never seen before.
