I had the vegan soy sauce ramen with char-siu, and it was very normal. I would expect the char-siu to be a vegan meat that would add some extra flavour, but it was just a piece of texturized soy protein. I am convinced their vegan venue (which is in the same building) have much more to offer, but this ramen did not convince me at all, and certainly I would not come back.

I hadn't had ramen in a traditional ramen shop since going vegan so I loved the experience but tbh the ramen was just ok. Very oily and the portion was quite small.

They aren’t messing around when they say it’s spicy, luckily, I asked for mine to be a little milder. My guest did not enjoy the vegan poutine as much as they thought they would. The gyoza were a solid choice as an appetizer.

Lines were long but actually we only waited less than 10 minutes! The seating is more for singles but works for 2 or 3 people too, wouldn’t recommend for bigger groups. The food was amazing!! So flavourful and including soy meat.

Stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised with the two veg/vegan options! My party tried both - both good flavours and good serving size. We are not huge fans of fake meat so didn’t love that, but the rest was great.

Visited during lunch hour therefore there was quite a crowd. Waited for approximately 40min before getting a seat. We came here as a walk-in and quite quickly had our order taken and were given a couple of seats. Food arrived literally a minute or two later and the vegan tonkotsu ramen with soy meat was truly incredible. Easily the best ramen I had over the entire Tokyo trip. There are dividers between each seat which makes it a bit awkward if you are going with other people but besides that it ticked all the boxes. There are mukltiple locations around Tokyo so worth having on your radar as a dependable place to visit on the hop. Bonus points for selling T’s Tantan instant ramen pots to take home!

Located in the same building as the Vegan Bistro Jangara, except this is on the ground floor and only has 2 vegan options and waaaay less people inside. I attempted to go to their fully vegan restaurant on the top floor but it was full to the brim with people lining up to the door and elevator.
Read moreYou should try this place out too though. Their garlic ramen is so delicious and flavourful, definitely worth a visit. You can add or remove ingredients. There's free water. Staff spoke some English.

The Garlic oil vegan ramen is SO GOOD I had to go 3 times. It's a bit more expensive than other ramen and the vegan charsiu pork isn't my favourite I've had, but the noodle and soup itself were a 10 for me!! I didn't love the soy sauce vegan it was too umami for me

CORRECTION: THIS REVIEW IS FOR A?DIFFERRENT PLACE NEXTDOOR. SORRY! Right opposite Harajuku station, if you look up there is a neon 'vegan' in the . It seems to have changed names to Vegan Bistro Jangara and serves not only 2 types of ramen but also has a burger, tacos and gyōza. Prices were around 1400 for a main, not bad for down town Tokyo. It was busy and we had to queue but he took our order as we waited and the food was promptly served. All our meals were really tasty and we treated ourselves to the tasty little desserts too.

Wooow! I was blown away at the delicious ramen here!! 🥹 the place is very small, but I wouldn’t let that steer you away, I the broth is perfectly seasoned, and the noodles are perfectly cooked! Highly recommend!!

Half the cost of strictly vegan places and even tastier! Garlic ramen is so good with toppings on the table to add, i would recommend double noodle but you can order this after you finish your bowl as well.
