NOTE: Out of season find V360 as a pop-up at sister site, the Ice Café, barely 15 metres away. Open Thu-Fri 14:00-18:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-18:30. Cafe is seasonal, weather dependant and subject to changeable open hours. When closed, its sister cafe, Ice Café situated next door, has the same menu, gelato and vegan Whippy.

So excited to have a nostalgic ice cream on the beach. Look for the green awning and carrot-coloured ice cream mascot.

Make sure you go to the right stall - Edit
Mistakenly went to the stall next door which is claiming to have "plant based ice cream" which it does indeed have but as I thought it was the vegan stall I was given and ate dairy 😭
Read moreLuckily I hadn't got any for my dairy intolerant partner as I felt he needed to choose his own flavours and he found the correct stall and then asked me which one I had been to and I realised the wrong one but I had nearly finished it by then!
Look for the GREEN umbrellas and ignore the purple plant based ones.
My partner enjoyed his ice cream and the lady at the vegan stall when I went and told her what had happened was very so lovely. Unlike the manager of the evil mixed dairy and plant based place next door who didn't give two shoots about her false advertising!

As you say, you went to the sister site, the Ice Café with the large, pink umbrella and awning, where omni foods are served, including vegan options for both hot food and gelato/Whippy soft serve, as advertised. That way families with various dietary requirements can all eat together and enjoy their time along Brighton seafront. When customers ask for vegan choices they are guided to the vegan freezer which only has vegan items in and from there, flavours are chosen and cones selected.
V360, as listed on this Happy Cow page, proudly continues to be 100% plant-based.

We were super excited to have vegan Mr whippy, and it was nice, but also maybe not as good as we wanted - it tasted a bit like vegan squirty cream at times. That being said, its brilliant to have a vegan option and we would go again.

Visited here in April - after No Catch unbelievably had run out of chips! Really glad to have found another option - ice cream was amazing and could order vegan fish and chips which can be collected from next door. Maybe not the best fish/chips we've ever had but really tasty none the less and they also had vegan mayo available which was great - definitely recommend!

Such a lovely little spot, the ice cream is really special with around 8 options to choose from with classic flavours and a few alternative ones, they have choices for specials cones and extras like a chocolate stick on top. The person working when we went was so lovely and made the experience even better. Definitely worth checking out.

Read moreNot going to lie though, it’s not the best whippy out there, it’s a bit too light and airy for me and doesn’t taste like real ice cream. Cafe Thrive in Southampton or the Happy Cow van in Bristol are my favourites. They get points for the ‘flake’ (choc stick) though which is a really nice touch.
Would give 5⭐️ for the service from the staff though it was so friendly and sweet, we got to try a bit of their bestselling ginger & cinnamon flavours. Personally, I’d recommend just getting the standard scoopable ice cream, it’s better!
