So much more than words can transmit - Edit
One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

The best Tofish in London - Edit
Have the tofish and chips. Ask for the chips without paprika. Enjoy!
Read moreFor dessert I had the signature baked cheesecake it was delicious! It was creamy and amazing but SMALL. Have two slices or order the substantially bigger chocolate salted caramel cake. You won't regret it.

We had the "Christmas roast", a hot dog with mac & cheese and the "dirty loaded fries" which were all really delicious. When we are back in London, we will definetaly eat there again. The service was also great, the staff is really friendly.

Amazing food and experience - Edit
ent there for lunch by myself and everything was great. I ordered crispy mozzarella sticks, they were delicious and the sauce was insane. Then I got a Hot dog with bacon and Mac 'n cheese, it was Heaven. The flavours and textures were mind blowing. I had the salted caramel cake for dessert and It was crunchy but soft and, great cake. The portion sizes were good too.

Brilliant birthday lunch - Edit
Three of us went for a birthday Sunday lunch, two vegans, the other with multiple rare and severe allergies. The staff could not have been more helpful with the allergies, and the chefs even made two different replacement sauces. Friendly, helpful but relaxed even though it was obviously busy. The food was great. Two different burgers and prawnz plus fries. We saw the desserts and would have loved to try them but were far too full. Thinking of returning to eat dessert only! Not cheap but I would prefer to go out less frequently and support an organisation like this. Looking forward eagerly to our next visit. Thank you!

Brilliant food - Edit
Went for lunch with friends and shared starters, a salad and both kinds of fries. Everything was really tasty. The prawnz are amazing and if you haven’t had hash brown fries before, you need to try them! It isn’t cheap, but we were pleasantly surprised when the bill came and were full even though we hadn’t had a main each. Friendly, relaxed service. Try to avoid sitting by the kitchen if you can- we all came out smelling of fried food.

The best Vegan food I've ever had! - Edit
After visiting Unity for my Birthday I decided it was the best Vegan food I've ever had - and I've had ALOT!
Read moreThe whole experience from start to finish was amazing.
Staff are super friendly.
Great atmosphere.
Lovely decor - especially loved the artwork on the walls at the toilets.
Fast service.
AMAZING food! We had the Tempura Prawnz and Tofish Bites to begin with - honestly these are amazing! I can't believe how prawny the prawns tasted! My partner, who isn't vegan especially loved the Tofish Bites.
I then had the Surge Burger which was insanely good.
I was far too full to have dessert so I got a slice of the Salted Caramel cake to take away - probably the best cake I've ever had!
If I lived in London, I would be here all the time!
Can't wait to visit again when I'm next in London
Pros: Insanely good food, Great atmosphere, Friendly helpful staff
Cons: I wanted to try all the menu!

Super impressed with the new restaurant (loved the old one too!) Love the decor, the artwork, the wallpaper near the loos. The food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We will definitely be coming back for more soon! Best part is it’s not for profit, it’s for the animals! 💚🌱

Delicious! - Edit
I had the tofish and chips and it was incredible. I’m not local, so I didn’t realize it, but they get really busy so you should make a reservation. The atmosphere reminded me of what I see in Los Angeles- High ceilings, brightly lit, warm wood, and plants. Would definitely recommend!

Oh my goodness!!!! - Edit
Well when I saw the prices I first thought oh well but it was worth every pence. I had the tofish and chips, it was so delicious. Not too much meat like but enough to make my non-vegan boyfriend trying to eat my dish. He had a poké-bowl which was okay. He said it tasted like real salmon.

Vegan ethos - Edit
November 2018 review: Couldn't fault the food, traditional diner food veganised. As it was my first visit I had to try the moving mountains burger (with the added bacon). It really was tasty with all the fillings, I particularly liked the pesto. I followed that with a large slice of baked cheesecake which was really good.
Read moreThe atmosphere was relaxed. They got fairly busy (but not totally full) and although there was a lot of conversation it never got too loud.
Service was friendly and they welcomed feedback.
The location is good, not far from Old Street tube and on a nice little square.
And there is that added bonus that you are supporting their vegan ethos.
October 2019 update: They have now moved to new premises in Spitalfield. More seats, lovely decor, expanded menu, cocktail bar, more lively atmosphere (the music was louder). Still 5 stars!
Pros: All vegan, Tasty food, Relaxed atmosphere

So we had, as a starter: a shrimps-thing with a dip, which was good.

Salted caramel cake at the end was ridiculously good, take me to heaven. I am ready to die.

Delicious - Edit
What I found here is an excellent place to bring skeptic friends and show them that vegan can be the same junk food experience than animal based food. It’s not my favourite thing, the fact that vegan food is disguised as animal food but the job done here is excellent I must admit, the tofish really looks and tastes like fish, and the moving mountains the same with meat, even the texture of the shrimps. The food is excellent, beyond your preferences the place is 5 starts and the job they’re doing here helping the animals and showing how vegan can be for everyone is remarkable.
