So much more than words can transmit - Edit
One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

AMAZING!! - Edit
I’ve been wanting to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing!! From the starters to the desserts, everything was just so tasty and full of flavor. Service was awesome too and they have such a brilliant ethos!! I only hope that one day there are more restaurants like this out there.

Incredible vegan food, sit at the bar! - Edit
We had the best seats in the house at the bar! I wasn't sure when we booked it but it was great watching the cocktails being made and even got a free cheeky cocktail each!
Read moreThe food was amazing, 3 courses are a must! We had VFC popcorn bites & tempura prawnz to start! Hotdog and double bacon burger for mains and the NY style & biscoff cheese cake for dessert... Wow!
Will definitely be back the next time we go into town for the day! 💚💚💚

Incredible - Edit
Went with friends for dinner. We all had 3 courses and tried each others. Everything was delicious. The fishy things (sushimi, prawnz, tofish n chips) were astonishingly fishy. Fish and chips was a dish I most missed since turning vegan as had never come across vegan alternatives but I swear the tofish was tastier than the real thing. Even my non-vegan friend agreed.

Love everything they stand for - Edit
More than a restaurant, this place is a hub of veganism. Knowing the profits go towards a sanctuary is so wonderful😄(Just only order the hotdog if you can handle spicy mustard - I found it very strong) Overall a great place!

Love that it’s a non-profit business where all proceeds go to Surge Sanctuary. The food is great- presentation and taste alternatives are amazing. Their seitan ‘ribs’ were even on the ‘bone’ I appreciate the efforts

Amazing food - Edit
The food was awesome, actually the very best vegan pudding I have ever had, and I have been vegan for 7 years.
Read moreThe staff were very friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is that the loaded fries were lukewarm not hot enough and the “bacon” could have been cooked a bit more. I put it down to the fact that the place was extremely busy and the staff were obviously rushed off their feet.
On the whole very lovely and would definitely go again.
Pros: Entirely vegan , Innovative recipes , Profits go to Surge sanctuary
Cons: Quite pricey but that’s London

Amazing vegan restaurant covering all types of animal alternatives. Maybe a bit too much focus and not enough on standard healthy vegan meals?

My favourite place to eat in London - Edit
Fantastic restaurant, so many vegan items! Everything was great, but for me the standout was the battered tofish. Hands down the best vegan fish I’ve ever eaten. A definite must to eat here if you are in London! My only complaint is they don’t have fitted women’s t-shirts for sale.

Hit with all the family - Edit
Took my family here to celebrate my birthday back in September. It was amazing, everyone loved it (and we have a couple of fussy eaters!) the fake fish and chips blew my mums mind who had never had a good fake fish until now, she said this was fantastic! We all had different dishes, but they were all great in their own way!

Well worth a Visit - Edit
It was my wife and my first visit to the Unity Diner. It was a Friday night so it was pretty busy, the atmosphere was good. The menu isn’t over complicated but pretty varied. We had a chikken ceaser salad and their version of kfc which was amazing! I had a moving mountains burger, we were both ready to burst but we couldn’t resist a pudding to share. Also try the peanut butter blondie

If I could give it 6 stars I would!! Best vegan restaurant, I love it! 😍 - Edit
This place was set up by Earthling Ed and Surge Activism and the money goes towards, helping animals, being their voice and hopefully opening there own sanctuary at some point! I can’t think of a better place to spend your money!
Read moreIt’s got a beautiful modern exterior and we were lucky enough to meet Ed there which was amazing!! The burgers, mac and cheese and pie were incredible!! We also tried the piers Morgan’s tears cocktail which felt very satisfying to drink 😂

The Best - Edit
Amazing tasty food and you help animals by eating there. What's not to like? I had the tofish stack and it absolutely blew me away. I loved the "calamari" in it. The ambience was really nice, as was the staff and it's a non-profit restaurant, meaning what you pay goes to animal charities which is why it is a bit pricier, but all for a good cause. Definitely recommend giving it a go!

Can’t fault it! - Edit
Visited a little while ago for the first time and it was honestly faultless. The menu was great, food delicious. The place was lovely and clean throughout. Service was quick and the waiter was really nice. Think that it’s a great place to bring any skeptics non-vegans to show them what is available! I had mozzarella sticks, seitan chicken burger, and salted caramel cake! Will definitely be coming back!

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food (yes, the tofish & chips is as good as they say). But most commendable of all, the lengths the staff have gone to maintain hygiene standards in light of the pandemic

American fast food diner ouevre to this vegan restaurant that has adapted brilliantly to coronavirus opening. Felt at ease with staffs excellent hygienic treatment of surfaces and social distancing.
