This is a gem. - Edit
An absolute favourite. Just the smell will lure you in. Really enjoyed this new place. Owner and his family live vegetarian. His mission is to show tasty meals don't require meat.

I overheard another table, gluten free is possible too.

Cons: Yogurt isn't vegan, but they may serve it anyway

Great asset for Alkmaar - Edit
I'm so happy this restaurant recently opened in Alkmaar. There are not many vegan options in this city. But in Uit India there are plenty! I enjoyed the food a lot. Friendly and cosy place. It can get really busy.
Read moreOne tip for the restaurant: a vegan cookie with the tea or coffee, and no honey with the tea when people eat vegan all night. Otherwise it was a perfect evening!

High quality and a lovely night out. - Edit
As Vegans we were surprised by the choices we got offered. High quality authentic Indian dishes. We enjoyed 3 kinds of starters and 4 different main dishes with lovely garlic roti and a “cheese” cake for dessert. A must go when in Alkmaar and looking for a nice night out in a lovely atmosphere.

Really high quality and authentic Indian cuisine, made with fresh ingredients. Lovely welcome by front of house. Great restaurant for couples - very suitable for dates - as well as catering for larger groups of friends. Overall experience was excellent.
