Sehr leckeres Sushi - Edit
Wir können das Restaurants bestens weiterempfehlen. Alles war sehr lecker, der Service war super schnell und sehr freundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder. Vor allem das leckere Sushi hat unseren Geschmack vollkommen überzeugt.

After reading many good reviews on here I was excited to visit Udum. The dishes were unfortunately not up to my high expectations. I thought the dishes were relatively fat and lacking in flavour. The service was very quick however, that was nice.

Es gibt eine ziemlich gute Auswahl an Gerichten und alles war geschmacklich ziemlich gut. Prinzipiell scheint eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert. Insgesamt ist es auf jeden Fall nicht so gemütlich, es wirkt alles sehr gedrängt und laut. Es gibt noch weitere vegane Restaurants mit scheinbar gleicher Karte in der Stadt, die wohl etwas größer sein sollen.

Ich komm aus Berlin und dachte erst, dass es standard-Essen wird. Aber es war extrem lecker! Kellner sehr freundlich. Cash only. Ich hatte Spinat-Knoblauch gyoza und die Kokossuppe, es war einfach krass gut! Und dabei auch noch absolut faire Preise!! Wie machen die das? Ich bin positiv schockiert!

Udum ist ein tolles asiatisches Restaurant, das eine große Auswahl an asiatischen Tapas bietet. Zudem gibt es auch Sushi. Wir haben je zwei bis drei asiatische Tapas pro Person bestellt und wurden sehr satt. Besonders gut ist das grüne Curry!

What makes a good restaurant? Fresh and tasty (vegan) food. Sincere, respectful service. A nice ambiance. Inventive menu. Udum slays on all of this. There are classics like pho and bao buns but nothing is boring. Get the hot ginger orange tea which is real ginger steeped with slices of orange. Udum is easily one of my favourite restaurants anywhere ever.

Wir sind regelmäßig im Udum und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Bisher gab es nichts, das nicht sehr gut geschmeckt hat und uns gefällt besonders die Vielfalt. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall, einige der Tapas zu wählen und sich einmal durchzuprobieren. Die Sushi sind auch super!

Medium size, so you can come unannounced, but it's better to make reservations. It is really close to Neumarkt, so it has very easy access in Cologne. Very recommended!

The food (and drinks) was to die for, creative, and beautifully presented...and it was amazing to have a fully vegan Asian menu! Unfortunately, the woman serving us ruined the experience from the second she greeted us ("only cash!"). She was cold, rude, inattentive, and seemed to hate her job. Definitely doesn't go with the place and vibe of Udum.

Super veganer Laden! Es sind nur knapp keine 5 Sterne geworden: Uns haben die Saucen nicht so gut geschmeckt, manche Tapas waren ohne Sauce aber ziemlich fad. Alles in allem aber super lecker und empfehlenswert! Für 2 Personen würde ich 6 Tapas empfehlen.

We shared a couple of tapas, which was a good way to sample some of the many options on their extensive menu. While the bao buns were somewhat bland, everything else was really flavourful and fresh. Staff was friendly and our food was prepared quickly.
