I really loved the chicken drum stick appetizer and sauce. The crispy tofu with raspberry sauce was good but is easier to find in vegan Asian restaurants. I got 4 different sushi sets which were great. My favorite was the spicy tuna roll and the mango roll. The mint ginger tea was fresh and good. My friend got the cloud drink with lychee.

Such a nice surprise to visit this restaurant while in the city. Everything we had was delicious! Coconut soup, Crispy Tom, Mango Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Shitake Roll and WhiteCloud5 to drink.

This would have been very good food if we already did not had better food at other Vietnamese restaurant in Düsseldorf. Pinkladies was ok, spring rolls too oily, pho was oily and salty. Not the best. Takes only cash. Somewhat attentive service considering restaurant almost empty

This is a great asian restaurant. You can expect the typical vegan asian tapas, bowls, soups and sushi options, as well as a whole bunch of drink options.
Read moreWe had a Phō, which was absolutely tasty af (the small one still is whole bowl) and a 2 person sushi platter with several options, which was also very good.
Service was super friendly, but you should probably book a couple of hours in advance; also, at the moment they only accept cash (atms are nearby)
We were here yesterday and are thinking about going back tonight. Go figure.

I went for the pho and it was really good. The portion was generous. I also tried the gyoza and the coconut balls, which were good too. The staff is nice as well. I didn't order sushi but I've seen some and the presentation looked beautiful. I recommend.

Wir waren echt vom Hocker gehauen, so lecker war das Essen. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und das Lokal sehr freundlich eingerichtet.

Ihr solltet aber auf jeden Fall reservieren, wir hatten ziemlich Glück und 16 Uhr am Samstag noch einen Tisch zu bekommen, die nach uns wurden aber schon abgewiesen.

Tasty and well seasoned vegan Vietnamese food, the service is a bit confused or maybe overworked.

Read moreDas Udum bietet wirklich leckeres Essen – die Pho und Bun Bo Hue waren geschmacklich hervorragend, ebenso die frischen Rollen und Sticks. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist eigentlich gemütlich, und das Essen wird frisch zubereitet. Leider gibt es einige Punkte, die unseren Besuch getrübt haben.
Zum einen akzeptiert das Restaurant nur Barzahlung, was für uns ein echter Minuspunkt ist. Es wirkt nicht mehr zeitgemäß und hinterlässt einen unangenehmen Eindruck. Zum anderen war der Service anfangs etwas chaotisch: Der allein arbeitende Kellner wirkte sichtlich überfordert und hüpfte hektisch zwischen den Tischen hin und her, was die Stimmung unnötig unruhig gemacht hat.
Trotzdem wollten wir das Udum einmal ausprobieren, und geschmacklich hat es sich definitiv gelohnt. Aufgrund der Barzahlung und des stressigen Services werden wir jedoch nicht wiederkommen, obwohl das Essen wirklich empfehlenswert ist.

Read more(fresh passion fruit, lime, mint, passion fruit and mango juice €5.90) as a drink, very fruity, super tasty. For dessert I had Mochi Lovers
(ice cream mochis with mango-passion fruit flavor €5.90), also super tasty. I wasn't so keen on the savory dishes, but it was okay, is also a matter of taste.
Everything looks very lovely. Someone has put some thought into it.

Ich hatte eine Bowl bestellt, die sehr schmackhaft war, und sechs Sushis mit Frischkäse und Avocado. Letzteres war äußerst lecker. Die Location war auch gemütlich und der Service war top. Preislich fand ich es absolut akzeptabel.
