It was great and definetly worth a visit - Edit
We visited the café in the afternoon, but unfortunately the kitchen closes at 4 p.m., so we couldn't have anything hot to eat, which was a pitty. After our brief disappointment, however, we were won over by the cake (lemon cake and brownie with peanut sauce), which we found really delicious! The cappuccino that went with it was also very good. The service was very friendly. The café is really cute and nicely decorated. Definitely worth a visit!😄

tasty but bring some time - Edit
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice but busy so we had to wait a little before we got our food. Still recommend this cute, little eatery.

Lovely coffee spot - Edit
I only stopped here for a late afternoon coffee and cake but really loved it! I had a Freddo cappuccino and my boyfriend had an iced chocolate drink which was amazing, staff were lovely too. Nice places to sit outside too (perhaps too nice as we were so relaxed we left and forgot to pay!! 😅 we did go back of course)

👌✨ - Edit
Chill cafe for brunch; friendly employees and one of the few places where the coffee does not taste incredibly sweet when you get oat milk.
Read moreThe foods are also really nice; the sweets are very 'greek-size' portions.
The inclusion of fibre/protein info is nice touch

I got the freddo cappucino , sandwichella and lentil burger. The coffee was amazing, and the sandwich too. The burger tasted mainly like lentils though the bun was quite good too.

Great Food and Drinks but Service Needs Improvement - Edit
Tiny Rebels is a fantastic place where we visited twice for lunch and brunch. The food is amazing, the coffee is good, and the smoothies are excellent, everything is just perfect.
Read moreHowever, the service left a lot to be desired. When you walk in, you are mostly ignored, even though staff are working just 30 cm away preparing coffee or food. About three out of four employees completely ignored us. When we asked for a menu, one staff member just pointed to a pile of menus instead of handing one over. This is not a self-service place, so that was disappointing.
The food makes up for a lot, but it would be perfect if the service was better. The second time we came, it was much quieter but the staff still ignored us. Eventually, we received a menu but no one came back to take our order. We had to go to the counter to ask if we could order.
A bearded man came to our table, seemingly annoyed and not really engaged. It’s a shame because it’s a great spot with fresh, tasty, and unique dishes. If the staff were a bit friendlier and more welcoming, this would be a wonderful place. Unfortunately, I can’t rate it higher because of the service experience.

all-vegan café in Iraklio - Edit
We were trying to visit every fully vegan place (there aren't too many) during our first stay in Crete, so we went here for brunch. Found a table and were greeted friendly. We had sweet pancakes, a tofu sandwich, lemonade and iced matcha. To me, the pancakes could use some (nut) crunch and a little less date aroma, the matcha would have been a ruler with a hint of spice.
Read moreWhen ordering, the young lady from staff almost apologized that they'd only use plant milk here. We assured that this was exactly our thing. Obviously they'd had encounters with omni tourists complaining about...
Summary: All was good, they could excel on the flavours a bit more. And act more confidently, veganism is nothing to apologize for :-)

Made a couple of visits to this cute little find. Really good vibe and all the food we had was delicious - baguettes, pancakes, burger, cakes and juices (yes, all that on just two visits haha!) Such a nice team, well worth dropping in.

Rebel Rations - Edit
The Scrambled eggz open toast was multi-grain bread topped with firm tofu, fresh tomatoes, and Cretan mountain herbs. It had a subtle, but satisfying flavor. The Pancakes were served with peanut butter caramel, homemade hazelnut praline, banana slices, mixed berries, and shredded coconut. The blackberries were still slightly frozen, but everything else was delicious.
