Lousy Vegan Food - Edit
The coffee at Tidal coffee was very good, but we wanted breakfast also. They had steel cut oatmeal on the menu. While I did not think there was a way to screw up steel cut oatmeal, they did. It was very soupy in a heavy coconut cream resulting in a very, very high fat meal. We all had heartburn from their steel cut oatmeal. Nothing else on the food menu would make a good breakfast for a vegan either.

Good, Reasonably Priced Drinks - Edit
Tidal Coffee is here to save the day for a solid coffee/tea while avoiding the tourist traps that are littered on Cannery Row.
Read moreI stopped by this lovely cafe for a London Fog with Oat Milk ($5) - happy that they offer non-dairy options for their lattes. My drink came out quickly and it was just what I needed. They offer a lot of tasty looking pastries too but sadly none of it was vegan. My friend did order a bear claw and she seemed to have enjoyed her treat.
If you're looking for a nice, non-busy cafe near the aquarium or wharf, this is worth the trek out.

Almond Milk Latte - Edit
I loved that the almond milk tasted like almond breeze unsweetened unflavored milk. It didn’t taste like Starbucks almond milk which taste to me like the burnt the almond skin flakes and ground them up into paste and soaked them over night to squeeze out the almond flavor.
