Serves food from a menu designed to authentically represent that of a traditional British fish and chip shop. Sample selection includes vegan cod & chips, smoked vegan haddock & chips, Tofish burger & chips, and tempura prawnz. Also offers side dishes and desserts. Has a food truck that visits markets/events. Open Tue-Sat 12:30-20:00, Sun 12:30-19:00.

Fantastic place - amazing chips - like beyond amazing. We had smoked haddock (such a great flavour), cod (lovely and plainer) and battered saveloy. All superb. Don't get me started on the tarter sauce - superb ... thank you No Catch ;)

I wanted to visit this fully Vegan Fish and Chip restaurant and finally got a chance to recently. We were going to get some takeaway, which a lot of people seemed to be doing, but we ended up sitting in. It’s not a fancy restaurant, rather more like a cafe. The food we had was so good. I ordered the ‘Cod’ and my friend had Jumbo ‘Shrimp’. We both had chips and curry sauce as well. If you gave this food to someone who wasn’t vegan, I don’t think they’d realise they weren’t actually eating fish. When I’m in Brighton I’ll be visiting No Catch again and actually hope they open a London cafe at some point.

Caught a lot of love for the food at No Catch - Edit
Tried the saveloy and chips, and the tofish bites. Both were yummy! Great location, with the option to take your food to go - and presumably, sit and have your meal on the seafront, which is right across from this location. Look forward to visiting again some time.

I absolutely love earthling Ed and everything this restaurant stands for (ethos etc.) but unfortunately we were both really disappointed with the food.
Read moreIn terms of positives, the cod was very good and they give really good sized portions. Chips were also nice but did need more salt. The food also came out hot and was really well presented. The staff were very friendly too.
Negatives / things to work on - the aioli was extremely bland (tasted like sour cream), curry sauce tasted quite watered down / bland, mushy peas also bland / not very enjoyable. Also found the calamari to be bland.
We were also a bit disappointed to not see reusable cutlery / pots - I'm sure these were compostable / recyclable but feel like for a sit down meal reusable is the best way to go?
Was really hoping it would blow us away and really sorry to give 3* :(

We had the vegan cod fish and chips and smoked haddock fish and chips and both were so good especially the smoked haddock. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Looking forward to my next trip to Brighton to try the other options.

Nipped in at the weekend while down Brighton for the day to try the No Cod & Chips, and glad we did, Appearance wise, the shape was wrong, but the batter and the texture were spot on. My Daughter said it was uncomfortably like the real thing, and she wasn't wrong ! The triple cooked chips were great too, Best vegan fish and chips we've had !

Literally no words to describe how blinking delicious this was. We had the chips, vegan battered sausage, vegan shrimp, vegan prawns and vegan cod. There was a little bit of a wait but was 100% worth it. None of it disappointed and the girl behind the counter was lovely.

We shamelessly stuffed ourselves at No Catch on more than one occasion. Already fans of the fish and chips, from their Unity Diner connections, we were excited to try the smoked version.

Great location on the seafront with outdoor seating and literally a stone’s throw from the beach if you want to eat your “fish” and chips like other visitors to Brighton.

I thought I was going to be disappointed but I was certainly not! The portion was huge! It beat me lol I had the battered saveloy…..not had that for over 35 years and it tasted amazing! Staff lovely too! And chips just so good! Will visit again when I’m back in Brighton 🤗

My mate and I shared a regular “Cod and chips” because we wanted to try the calamari and shrimp as well. I will definitely visit again and great day trip from London. There is nice seating inside but the next time I visit I will get takeaway and just walk across the street and site on the beach. 👍🏾🌱

The food here is amazing! Never really liked cod with my chippy but the tofish here is so nice! Ordered a regular size and struggled to finish it, need to go back to try all their popcorn prawns!

Stumbled across while walking along the seafront and did not disappoint! The food was divine and such an upgrade from my usual chippy order. Having never eaten fish before, I have no basis for comparison to the "real thing", but staff were lovely in helping me choose a dish. Would recommend to anyone!

Best vegan fish & chip offering in Brighton! Nothing is too greasy or fatty or fried in too much batter. Left feeling full and happy! No reaction from my MSG or Gluten stuff and would massively recommend.
