Low key seafront shop - Edit
We opted to try a few things, calamari, tofish and chips, and battered sausages. Tartare sauce was good with everything. I liked the curry with the battered sausages. The tofish bites were okay. (I am comparing to fish and chips from The Good Grub In Eastbourne, which were an innovative use of banana blossoms.) Calamari was slightly rubbery and the sausages were good.

Best vegan fish alternatives - Edit
We ordered the smoked tofish & chips, calamari, lemon shrimp and tartare sauce to takeaway. It was prepared quickly and the staff were friendly😄
Read moreWe ate on the beach which is very just opposite the road. I'd never tried calamari or shrimp before even when I wasn't vegan, but I enjoyed the shrimp. The calamari was awful - to me it tasted like a piece of rubbery plastic, but my partner who had eaten calamari before said it was very realistic so if you miss calamari you'll like this alternative!
The tofu-fish was lovely and the chips were the best we'd had in a long time, super crispy but not too oily. Tartare sauce tasted exactly how I remember it.

Loved it! - Edit
Absolutely fantastic place - We had the fish and chips and shrimps with peas, curry and tartare sauce. It was so delicious! And what a difference it makes to be in an all vegan restaurant. We were asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions when ordering which is very accommodating, plus the staff was very friendly. We will be back again 💚🌱

We automatically go here and sometimes make a visit especially to have no catch. I honestly can't count! It's been great having a vegan fish and chips shop.

Read moreunfortunately couldn't try their tofu fish as they were out of stock, so i ordered the battered sausages, chips and a gherkin and it did not disappoint. really tasted like a proper fish and chips meal and couldn't believe it was actually vegan. also tried some of their curry sauce which was also delicious. would definitely come back to try the other dishes. a great place to go in brighton if you're vegan and craving the classic fish and chips 🎣
Pros: all vegan menu, variety of options, friendly staff, cute little restaurant, tucked away

Lunch - Edit
An excellent lunch for two on a cold day. Loy & chips and tofish & chips, sauces and drinks. Chips were chunky and perfectly cooked. Loy was delicious, with a delicate batter. Tofish was smoky, didn’t taste like fish to me but that’s a good thing! We ate inside, nice canteen-style space. Friendly staff, quick service.

Perfect, absolutely perfect!! Delicious battered 'fish' with chunky, crispy chips. Yummy mushy peas & tasty tartare sauce!
Read moreI demanded a day trip to Brighton for my birthday, planned entirely around getting food from No Catch Co!! And we will be back again soon, I'm sure.
They didn't have their usual tofish 'cod fillet', but did have 'cod goujons' instead. Despite my initial internal panic at being told this, I was very pleasantly surprised!😅 The goujons were just as tasty, and much easier to eat when sat on the beach😆
Pros: So unbelievably tasty!, Good price, great portions.Lots of sides + extras., Perfect beach-front location

Not a fan of fish before I went veggie 20 years ago, but absolutely loved my haddock and chips. Sad I was only around for a couple of days and did not get to try more off the menu. My partner had a different fish, which was also really nice with subtle differences between them.

You have to go here!!! - Edit
Without a doubt giving this place 5 stars. We had cod goujons, battered sausage and chips, then deep fried oreo for dessert. And it was absolutely incredible! I have never come across a vegan fish and chip shop in the UK so this place is one of a kind. Being a seaside girl, I always loved going to the chip shop, so this was an experience aswell as eating the most tasty food!

Tofish goujons! - Edit
Have been wanting to try this place for ages! Smoked tofish was unavailable (it was 12:40, they’d been open 10 minutes) so he suggested the tofish goujons instead, basically the same but in strips and not smoked. We couldn’t sit in as there are only about 8 tables inside and they were all full, so we walked the 10 mins back to our hotel. The packaging for takeout was impressive and the food was still piping hot!

Cons: Small venue down some concrete steps
