Serves food from a menu designed to authentically represent that of a traditional British fish and chip shop. Sample selection includes vegan cod & chips, smoked vegan haddock & chips, Tofish burger & chips, and tempura prawnz. Also offers side dishes and desserts. Has a food truck that visits markets/events. Open Tue-Sat 12:30-20:00, Sun 12:30-19:00.

Visited Brighton for the vegan food and was not disappointed. Best vegan fish and chips I've had. They only have disposable wooden cutlery as the only downside but otherwise a wonderful experience.

I tried the smoked haddock and the cod, both are delicious with a light and crispy batter, served with bits of spring onion, amazing super chunky chips. The smoked haddock has a stronger fishy taste so beware, but it's great for newly vegan who miss the taste! The cod is lighter but very good too. I recommend the aïoli, and was impressed by the drink selection, great alternative to famous brands of cola😉Overall great food, atmosphere and friendly staff.

They offered various options as "fish", not just one. The staff friendly explained the difference between each of them, was kind and helpful. Pretty tasty, interesting experience and highly recommend.

Both the fish and the chips were delicious and the gherkin enormous! Compostable paper-thin cutlery was not up to the job of cutting the fish. Basic cafe type space in basement but terrace with seaview (although no shade).

Best vegan fish I’ve ever had! Not good calamari - Edit
As title says, the actual vegan fish was delicious. I don’t know what substitute they use, but it’s soooo yummy! We got the “cod”, which I would HIGHLY recommend, and enjoyed our meal by the sea. The chips and curry sauce were nice - nothing exceptional but pretty good. The calamari on the other hand, was underwhelming. £7 is pretty expensive for 6 calamari rings and whilst the texture is pretty accurate, the flavour just isn’t really there. Would suggest steering clear tbh and go for the fish and chips!

We were really looking forward to trying g this dedicated vegan ‘fish’ and chip shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the portions were well sized. We had the ‘cod’ and chips and mushy peas. The peas and chips were excellent but the cod was not as flavourful or as good as others I have had elsewhere. Saying that if I was in the area again and wanted ‘fish’ and chips then I would still visit here.

would highly recommend the Cod and chips regular plate : cod is strong in taste and chips very crunchy

were able to provide a small plate of haddock and that was almost the same as cod (which means very good)

Fresh tasting, crispy, tasty. A bit more dense than the real thing (probably- it’s been ages since I’ve had real fish) - but you can’t have everything. Chips were amazing too!
