Finally got round to visiting No Catch and it was 100% worth the hype. I opted for the Vegan Cod and Chips and it was honestly incredible. Do yourself a favour and visit if you’re in Brighton.

So real it's fishy... - Edit
Hands down best vegan fish and chips I've ever had. All my friends, who aren't vegan, were also blown away. The tofu is such a great texture and taste! I would recommend the calamari too. The portions are massive so I end up going for a child's option.

Fully vegan fish and chips! 🙌 - Edit
Everything about my meal was delicious. The chips, "haddock", and tartare sauce. Also realised I was given free ketchup and vinegar on top so it was condiment heaven 😍

Impressive! - Edit
The fish imitations were really impressive! They tasted good, especially the cod. I wonder how they are made... However, the flavours could be a bit more stronger though. Also, I missed some veg, or a least some optional side dishes with vegetables. But generally very good.

Oh waw, this place is like magic. Shared the cod and chips, prawns and calamari and what an amazing textures they had. Meaty, fishy and flavourful as never before. This really outclassed my expectations. I wish there was a place like this in Belgium near Gent 🙃

The tofish and chips is so good that even non-vegans who I’ve taken here keep coming back for more. Staff are super friendly too. Would love to see a dessert menu added but that’s just me being greedy…

I expected better - Edit
I heard amazing things about this place so was super excited to try it out when I was in Brighton.
Read moreI arrived dead on opening time only to discover a note on the door explaining they’d be opening 30 mins later.
I ordered large ‘haddock’ and chips.
It was all nice enough but for the price I really did expect a bigger meal. There were a lack of chips although they were quite dry anyway. It didn’t take me long to use up the tartar sauce which came in a very small pot. The ‘haddock’ was quite nice however.
Pros: Nice location by the beach
Cons: Very expensive, Portions too small, Opened late

Nice taste but big on profit margins evidently.

Amazing vegan seafood - Edit
We had the large smoked haddock and chips, battered saveloy, lemon prawns and mushy peas. The chips were some of the best I've ever had, really chunky. The 'fish' tasted really fishy and the saveloy was delicious. Superbly done!

Disrespectful and unreliable - Edit
Hours being reduced. Don’t open on these advertised hours (including ones posted on the door)
Read moreActively told me they couldn’t be bothered to open on time because there weren’t enough customers
When I pointed out that I was a customer they asked me to offload a truck load of goods that had been left in front of their unit “upstairs.”
Pretty disgusted to be honest so will not be going back. I’d spent £4 on parking at that point…

Best fish and chips in town - Edit
You'd never believe it was vegan. I'd love to bring a Omni friend here to see what they think too. I had the smoked haddock and it even had a nori seaweed skin 🤯 chips were perfectly cooked and the girl behind the counter was friendly and helpful.

Have been so excited about coming back to Brighton to try this place out & it did not disappoint.
Read moreGreat menu with a wide range of choices and have everything you'd expect from a chippy. Was a shame on the day we went they had run out of the gravy.
I went for the vegan cod and chips, curry sauce and mushy peas. Big portion and I could have probably done with a kids size instead but it was absolutely delicious.
Excited to go again and maybe try the sausage in batter. Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, was a shame they're using single use cutlery for customers who eat in the resturant.
Pros: Large menu , Generous portion sizes, Delicious food
Cons: Slightly pricey for fish and chips , Single use cutlery, Massive portions

Quite nice - Edit
I quite liked the food they offered, unfortunately the place wasn’t that nice, the co-worker who took the order didn’t ask us if it was to take away or to eat in and just assumed that it was to take away so he served us the food in the table with in a box and a bag and didn’t really bother to ask if we want to have proper plates
Read morePros: Sufficient options, Good taste
Cons: Loads of chips 🍟 , Greasy, hard to digest and not that healthy
