A fully vegan “fish” and chip shop, opened in October 2021 by a vegan activist, Earthling Ed. Serves food from a menu designed to authentically represent that of a traditional British fish and chip shop. Sample selection includes vegan cod & chips, smoked vegan haddock & chips, Tofish burger & chips, and tempura prawnz. Also offers side dishes and desserts. Has a food truck that visits markets/events. Open Tue-Sat 12:30-20:00, Sun 12:30-19:00.

Best Fish & Chips I ever had, but... - Edit
Delicious crispy cod with chips for ~ £11, recommended by a friendly and helpful staff member. The taste and texture are excellent! By request, they also recommended I have a side of mushy peas for an extra ~ £2, which I really enjoyed!

**** - only due to the WC area: the toilet seat could get fixed, and the bathroom could get easily decorated.
I also think it is a bit pricey, but it depends on your reference point, I suppose. If you want the best vegan fish and chips - it is worth it at the end.
Overall, I am impressed and would come again and bring (non) vegan friends. Food is worth *****, place only **** for the reasons mentioned above.

No Catch we’re busy when we arrived at 14:45, luckily we managed to get a table. We ordered a large smoked haddock and chips with curry sauce and mushy peas, three battered sausages, and tofish bites.

Even my non vegan (finds fault with most vegan food) mum loved it and felt very full
As it was a special day I got the jumbo shrimp and calamari
Jumbo shrimp was great. But eat it fresh. It’s not good for later in the day take away.
Only thing I didn’t like was the calamari. Don’t bother.
Otherwise so good
And do yourself the favour of getting the tartar sauce too
I’ll be back

Absolutely loved my meal from The No Catch Co. The “cod” tasted amazing and the curry sauce was delicious too! Definitely try the new Oreo bites too! Would highly recommend this place!

I never loved fish before I was vegan but the battered fish here was so good (I don’t know how they get tofu to be that texture) and the chips were crispy and soft and perfect. I went at 12:35 when they open at 12:30 and there was already a queue, which makes sense. I ate it up against a wall by the beach to guard it from the seagulls. I will dream about this place…

Had their cod and chips at Worcester Vegan Festival and it was the best interpretation of fish I've had from either a restaurant or brand. It tastes and looks like fish. The tartare sauce I couldn't tell if it was vegan or not cos it was that realistic too. The chips were also great, crispy and that seaside type of taste. Everything was cooked fresh in front of me and the service was great too.

You simply have to try this when visiting Brighton. We had the classic fod fish & chips and it was banging with flavour and the texture of the "fish" blew our minds. We were so curious to know what it is made from, and were expecting it to be jackfruit because of the stringy pull-apart texture. Little did we know, it is actually made of tofu which really surprised us in a positive way.
Read moreThe chips that come with it are super crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Mushy peas also very tasty. Tartare sauce was alright, but nothing we would particularly recommend. Ginger beers were a bit artificial and sweet for our taste. But the food is just incredible. 5/5!

Tried this restaurant last year and it didn’t disappoint. The texture of the tofu was amazing and definitely resembled the cod texture from what I remember. The chips were also crispy and fluffy, but perhaps could have been more like traditional Chips from the ‘chippy’. It was a tad pricey for the portion size, but I have to say everything I had was worth it and I have been back since.
