One of my Toronto Favs! - Edit
We went twice within our two-week visit to my hometown. Awesome food & drinks at reasonable prices. We tried the wings, fries supremacy, chips 'n guacamole, nachos, and caesar salad (spread over both visits). Everything was delicious and well-portiioned - even the non-vegan among us was more than satisfied!

I got the phish and chips and my boyfriend got the beef sandwich. The phish was made with tempeh which was a nice change from what I can usually find for phish. It was tasty but I could have used some greens with it. The service and atmosphere were great.

We had the ceasar wrap and wings and they were both good! The resto lacks decor, thus making the experience rather boring.. but the food tasted good. I would recommend but not go back.

Fantastic dirty vegan food - Edit
Food was freshly prepared and satisfied our vegan, veggie and meat eating group. Good service and delicious sandwiches and Mac and cheese. Took away cookies for dessert as we had no room to eat dessert in the restaurant. They were absolutely scrummy!

Traveling with work again. Checked with Cow. Cow says Hogtown Vegan looks good. Cow's right again. Had the Southern Combo. Chickenish strips, Mac n cheese, collard greens. Really good and very filling. Left happy. Would go again.

For a comfort food restaurant, that was perfect! exactly what I expected: tasty and filling!

Staff was friendly and serving very fast. They have a nice terrace to seat outside too.
What else to say?

I first went to the Bloor Street location several years ago and ordered the Southern Combo, a clever classic of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and chickun nuggets. I have returned to Hogtown many times including at this new location and had this dish on every single occasion. It's so good that I haven't needed to try anything else on the menu.

Great vegan junkfood. Tasty. It was exactly what I was looking for. I would have expected the service to be nicer. Actually the smile was an option. Maybe not a good day. Overall good experience and I would get back there.
