Yummy and fun presentation here. There’s a sweet and savory favorite option or you can build your own. Fun to have this Dutch staple finally. Friendly and welcoming staff having fun who were super polite. I’d come back.

The pancake itself was actually really good, but the guy making it was so unnecessarily rude. I was filming a video of the pancake being made (his face wasn’t even in it), and he got super mad about it. Totally ruined the experience.

Really great spot for traditional Amsterdam pancakes with an awesome vegan option. I had the one with warm bananas and syrup — simple but delicious. The fresh-squeezed OJ was also perfect. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Whether you’re vegan or not, definitely worth a stop while you’re in town.

They serve both sweet and savory pancakes where you choose your own base (normal, vegan, or vegan and glute-free) and then you select your toppings. It is clearly marked in the menu what is vegan and what is not. There is seating inside and outside the shop, but only for about 10-12 people.

Vegan-Friendly Organic Dutch Pancakes - Edit
Happy that this organic Dutch pancake speciality shop had vegan options and the possibility to customise using the Build Your Own Pancake order! Dutch pancakes are different from American ones in that the former are thinner with slightly crispy edges. There was a vegan pancake available made using flour, as well as a vegan and gluten-free pancake made using buckwheat for a healthier take (and slightly nutty fragrance). Vegan options for the toppings included cinnamon-spiced apple filling, chocolate hazelnut sauce, vegan whipped cream, and strawberry or fig jam. I don't have a very sweet tooth so I didn't particularly love this, but was pleased to try a vegan version of this traditional Dutch snack nonetheless! Hope the savoury vegan options can be expanded with some plant-based substitutes too. Would be good to have a non-disposable container for dining-in as well. Located near De 9 Straatjes, Begijnhof, etc.

The pancake shop had a nice amount of choice for vegan pancake topping. Banana, apple, chocolate sauce, jam, maple syrup, lemon&sugar, to name a few. Very tasty and conveniantly sliced into small portions. The staff were super friendly too. They also had iced coffee with oat milk, although that we found a little strong and not sweet enough for our liking.

Read morePlenty of of options to create your own vegan pancakes. I got one with the apple mix, maple syrup, and vegan whipped cream, and one with chocolate sauce, strawberry jam, and banana (fresh strawberries are by availability). Both were delicious but the apple mix had to be my favourite. I also had a yummy iced chai latte with soy milk. This place definitely satisfied my never-ending pancake cravings and I would love to go back and try the savoury versions and waffles.
