I adopted a plant-based lifestyle in early 2021. It all started back in 2020 when I decided to improve my health and overall lifestyle. I got a personal trainer and changed my diet. At this point, I was still following an omnivorous diet. At the beginning of 2021, I had lost about 60 lbs/30 kgs and had become very active, eating healthy, and looking for other ways to improve my life. After watching The Game Changers, I was sure that I should look more into a plant-based lifestyle. I started eating more and more plant-based and educating myself about veganism. It was like everything fell in place for me, and it felt good. My wife and kids have not followed the same path but have been increasingly eating more plant-based food since my transition. I don't have any friends or family who are vegan, but I would love to get some so that I don't have to resort to online forums only for discussing the plant-based lifestyle. I have been following a strictly plant-based diet since April 2021.
