Ok - Edit
I had the Magmour. While it had good flavour there weren’t that many chickpeas. It was also expensive for what it was, even compared with other Dublin restaurants.

A slice of Lebanon in Dublin - Edit
The hummus was absolutely unreal, so smooth and full of tahini

I had a few starters for a main instead of the vegan main option.

I ate a delicious meal of Eggplant and Chickpeas in a stew served with rice. Serves meat, and is a little expensive, but the portion sizes are large, the food is very flavorful, and the staff is very kind. Would recommend!

Enjoyable - Edit
Had been wanting to try here for ages. The food was nice and didn't take too long but also wasn't so fast you felt it wasn't fresh. The man waiting the table was very nice and good fun too, as were the other staff. My friend ordered the wrong thing but decided to keep it as a side but the waiter was very nice and offered to change it. We were very relaxed and ordered a couple of teas as we were chatting but didn't feel any pressure to vacate the table. The restaurant was smaller than I expected but still a nice vibe. The only downside is that there is no accessible toilet and the toilet is upstairs.

Decent food, good service - Edit
A few vegan options, quite a nice interior (although the toilet was a bit poor), food was nice - had the Veg Mezze. Not too bad for the price, considering this is Dublin. Authentic music. Would probably come back.

Delicious Vegan Mezze - Edit
The vegan mezze for two is huge! The starters alone serve 2 people. Try the homemade lemonade! Busy in the evening, quiet for lunch.

Super good! - Edit
Good and tasty food, lovely place and you should previously book because it seems it gets full easily. Service very kind and attentive. A LOT of vegan options and I think that vegan mezze is a lot for two people. A little bit expensive but you are in Temple Bar…

I really enjoyed my visit at The Cedar Tree. Service was friendly and the food was very good. It was a very calm place and I liked the atmosphere. The interior is typical, but not overdone, and my meal was filling.

Amazing - Edit
It was the best meal we had in Dublin, and I was able to share with my family who are not vegan. Deserves 5 stars, but that’s not an option since they do serve meat...

Amazing!!! - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious. We didn't actually know what we ordered but it said on the menu that it was a vegan 'meal' for two people. They brought out a lot of small plates with hummus, falafel, bread, salads etc to try. After that we were full already, we didn't know there was also a main course lol. It was a lot of amazing food - highly recommend!!

Traditional Lebanese Food - Edit
I've been here a few times in the past and tried the Maghmour (traditional dish with aubergines, chickpeas, onions & tomato sauce, served with rice) and Falafel (both vegetarian main dishes). The last time I went I asked if the falafel were fried in the same oil as meat - yes! I forgot that this is often the case in restaurants. Some people may not mind this, but as a strict vegan it would put me off ordering the dish.

Excellent vegan mezze - Edit
We decided to treat ourselves to the vegan mezze for two, for €52. We got an amazing spread: hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, spinach pastries, stuffed vine leaves, olives, fattoush, and more! Everything was really flavoursome, and there was a broccoli and cauliflower dip that was especially delicious. We were pretty full after all that, and thankfully the main dish was quite light - a slightly sweet tomato and aubergine stew with rice. I'd really recommend it, we enjoyed everything very much!
