Fair - some nice cake options - Edit
I wouldn’t recommend spending £4.80 on a hot chocolate, my peanut butter one had a gross after taste and I had to ask for something else. Luckily they let me swap it. I then had a plain hot chocolate instead (still vegan) and it was fine. But not worth nearly a fiver!!!

Gorgeous salads and soup - Edit
We had heard about their vegan menu and read reviews. We were not disappointed. The service is very friendly, the meals are very generous portions, fresh and tasty. Prices are extremely reasonable. We had an Indonesian soup. My husband followed it with a beetroot and falafel salad. I had a houmous, sundried tomato and olive salad. They have a great range of vegan cakes and desserts too. We will always lunch here when we visit Cleethorpes from now on.

Lovely little find - Edit
A vegan menu with lots of choice.
Read moreI had a vegan bacon, cheese and spinach panini. I asked to swap the crisps and salad for coleslaw which they kindly did.
The place lacked ambiance but hopeful that could be changed with a little time and art.
On the day we visited there was work being done on the outside which I hope doesn’t put off people.
If you’re vegan, give it a try 🥳
Pros: The choices for a vegan ☺️, The staff, very freindly 🥳, The location, when the work is finished
Cons: Just the building inside, it will put some people

Good selection - Edit
There was plenty of Vegan options to choose from with a separate Vegan menu. I had the Vegan Breakfast toastie which was really nice.
Read moreWasn't 100% sure if the drinks on the back of the Vegan Menu were Vegan or could be made Vegan or if the Vegan menu was just printed on the back of the drinks menu. I didn't think to ask.
I also had a couple of Vegan cakes to takeaway Rocky Road which was lovely & chocolate & coconut tart (slice) it was a little to bitter for me.

Does the trick - Edit
Decent separate vegan menu, unfortunately no free tables at lunchtime on a Saturday so got a VLT to take away. Bog standard sandwich, which isn’t a complaint. Will absolutely do the trick in a town where they probably don’t “do” veganism

Nice Surprise - Edit
I didn't expect to find much choice in Cleethorpes for cruelty-free eating, so was pleasantly surprised to discover this place on Happy Cow. They had a separate vegan menu. I had a mushroom, cheese & chutney toastie with crisps/salad, a lemon tart and a fruit tea. Yummy!

Great cake options - Edit
Great vegan cakes, coffee is okay as well but the size of the coffee is very small. The reason for the low score is because every time I go in there, I come out smelling terribly of cooking smell. I now avoid this place which is a shame because the cakes are very nice.

Really welcoming staff, came straight over with a bowl of water for the dog without us even needing to ask. Also came back a bit later with a dog biscuit for him. Service with a friendly smile. Good vegan menu for light bites. Lovely little place.

Delightful find - Edit
It's really true that you wouldn't expect to find such an extensive vegan menu in this little cafe. But it's delightful. I tried the BBQ jackfruit and cheese panini that came with a huge side salad and a peanut butter cookie slice. They had 4 or 5 different vegan cakes in the counter. Drinks were great and super friendly. Definitely recommend.

A hidden gem - Edit
Suzy's is a seaside cafe with honestly nothing that shouts COME IN! Some would say it's fairly bland looking but what makes Suzy's Cup of Joy a hidden gem is not only the lovely staff greeting you and serving you every visit but the fact that they have a great vegan friendly menu and the produce consistent great food and drinks.
